In 1340 John Sudeley 2nd Baron Sudeley died. His son John (age 3) succeeded 3rd Baron Sudeley.

In 1367 John Sudeley 3rd Baron Sudeley (age 30) died in Spain whilst fighting in the Spanish Wars with the Black Prince. Baron Sudeley abeyant.

In 1380 Thomas Boteler 4th Baron Sudeley (age 21) abeyance terminated 4th Baron Sudeley.

Before 1385 Thomas Boteler 4th Baron Sudeley (age 26) and Alice Beauchamp Baroness Sudeley (age 18) were married. She by marriage Baroness Sudeley.

On 20th September 1398 Thomas Boteler 4th Baron Sudeley (age 39) died at Bewsey, Lancashire. His son John (age 13) succeeded 5th Baron Sudeley.

In 1417 John Boteler 5th Baron Sudeley (age 32) died. His brother Ralph (age 28) succeeded 6th Baron Sudeley.

Around 1418 Ralph Boteler 6th and 1st Baron Sudeley (age 29) and Elizabeth Norbury Baroness Sudeley (age 25) were married. She by marriage Baroness Sudeley.

On 2nd May 1473 Ralph Boteler 6th and 1st Baron Sudeley (age 84) died. Baron Sudeley extinct. Baron Sudeley abeyant.

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

In 1463 Ralph Boteler 6th and 1st Baron Sudeley (age 74) and Alice Deincourt 6th Baroness Deincourt, Baroness Lovel and Sudeley (age 58) were married. She by marriage Baroness Sudeley. They were fifth cousin once removed.

On 2nd May 1473 Ralph Boteler 6th and 1st Baron Sudeley (age 84) died. Baron Sudeley extinct. Baron Sudeley abeyant.

On 9th December 1922 Charles Hanbury Tracy 4th Baron Sudeley (age 82) died at Reston Lodge, Petersham. His son William (age 52) succeeded 5th Baron Sudeley of Toddington in Gloucestershire.

On 5th September 1932 William Hanbury-Tracy 5th Baron Sudeley (age 62) died. His nephew Richard (age 21) succeeded 6th Baron Sudeley of Toddington in Gloucestershire.

On 26th August 1941 Richard Hanbury-Tracy 6th Baron Sudeley (age 30) died at sea at Norway, on active service. His first cousin once removed Merlin (age 2) succeeded 7th Baron Sudeley of Toddington in Gloucestershire.
