The King has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm, bearing date the 24th instant, to confer the dignity of a Baron of the United Kingdom upon The Right Honourable Sir Frederick Edward Grey Ponsonby (age 67), GCB, GOVO, and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten, by the name, style and title of Baron Sysonby, of Wonersh in the County of Surrey.
On 20th October 1935 Frederick "Fritz" Ponsonby 1st Baron Sysonby (age 68) died. His son Edward (age 32) succeeded 2nd Baron Sysonby of Wonersh in Surrey.
In 1956 Edward Gaspard Ponsonby 2nd Baron Sysonby (age 53) died. His son John (age 11) succeeded 3rd Baron Sysonby of Wonersh in Surrey.
