Before 28th May 1365 Thomas Ughtred 1st Baron Ughtred (age 73) died. He was buried at Catton Church Catton. His son Thomas (age 40) succeeded 2nd Baron Ughtred although it appears he was never summoned to Parliament. Catherine Mauley Countess Suffolk (age 35) by marriage Baroness Ughtred.

On 18th November 1401 Thomas Ughtred 2nd Baron Ughtred (age 76) died. His grandson Thomas (age 17) succeeded 3rd Baron Ughtred.

Before 1407 Thomas Ughtred 3rd Baron Ughtred (age 22) and Margaret Godard Baroness Ughtred (age 26) were married. She by marriage Baroness Ughtred.

Around 1418 Thomas Ughtred 3rd Baron Ughtred (age 34) died. His son Robert (age 11) succeeded 4th Baron Ughtred. Joan Aske Countess Suffolk (age 1) by marriage Countess Suffolk.

In 1472 Robert Ughtred 4th Baron Ughtred (age 65) died. His son Robert (age 50) succeeded 5th Baron Ughtred.

Before 24th May 1487 Robert Ughtred 5th Baron Ughtred (age 65) and Catherine Eure Baroness Ughtred were married. She by marriage Baroness Ughtred. He the son of Robert Ughtred 4th Baron Ughtred and Joan Aske Countess Suffolk. They were fifth cousin once removed.

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

On 24th May 1487 Robert Ughtred 5th Baron Ughtred (age 65) died. His grandson Henry succeeded 6th Baron Ughtred.

Before 10th September 1510 Henry Ughtred 6th Baron Ughtred and Agnes Constable Baroness Ughtred were married. She by marriage Baroness Ughtred. They were third cousins. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

On 10th September 1510 Henry Ughtred 6th Baron Ughtred died. His son Robert succeeded 7th Baron Ughtred.
