Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 4th February 1795 George Edgecumbe 1st Earl of Mount Edgcumbe [aged 74] died. His son Richard [aged 30] succeeded 2nd Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, 3rd Baron Edgcumbe. Sophia Hobart Countess Mount Edgcumbe [aged 27] by marriage Countess of Mount Edgcumbe.

On 26th September 1839 Richard Edgecumbe 2nd Earl of Mount Edgcumbe [aged 75] died. His son Ernest [aged 42] succeeded 3rd Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, 4th Baron Edgcumbe.

On 3rd September 1861 Ernest Augustus Edgecumbe 3rd Earl of Mount Edgcumbe [aged 64] died. His son William [aged 27] succeeded 4th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, 5th Baron Edgcumbe. Katherine Elizabeth Hamilton Countess Mount Edgcumbe [aged 21] by marriage Countess of Mount Edgcumbe.

On 21st April 1906 William Henry Edgecumbe 4th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe [aged 72] and Caroline Cecelia Edgecumbe Countess Revensworth and Mount Edgecumbe [aged 67] were married. She by marriage Countess of Mount Edgcumbe. He the son of Ernest Augustus Edgecumbe 3rd Earl of Mount Edgcumbe. They were first cousins.

On 25th September 1917 William Henry Edgecumbe 4th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe [aged 83] died. His son Piers [aged 52] succeeded 5th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, 6th Baron Edgcumbe. Edith Villiers Countess Mount Edgecumbe [aged 39] by marriage Countess of Mount Edgcumbe.

In 1944 Piers Edgcumbe 5th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe [aged 79]. Kenelm Edgcumbe 6th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe [aged 70] succeeded 6th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, 7th Baron Edgcumbe.

On 10th February 1965 Kenelm Edgcumbe 6th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe [aged 91] died. His nephew Edward [aged 62] succeeded 7th Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, 8th Baron Edgcumbe.

Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes

Récits d’un bourgeois de Valenciennes aka The Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes is a vivid 14th-century vernacular chronicle written by an anonymous urban chronicler from Valenciennes in the County of Hainaut.
