On 1st October 1674 George Fitzroy 1st Duke Northumberland (age 8) was created 1st Earl of Northumberland, 1st Viscount Falmouth, 1st Baron Pontefract by King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland (age 44).
On 28th June 1716 George Fitzroy 1st Duke Northumberland (age 50) died at Epsom, Surrey without legitimate issue. Duke Northumberland, Earl of Northumberland, Viscount Falmouth, Baron Pontefract extinct.

On 25th October 1734 Hugh Boscawen 1st Viscount Falmouth (age 54) died suddenly in Trefusis, Cornwall. He was buried in St Michael Pentivel, Penkevile. His son Hugh (age 30) succeeded 2nd Viscount Falmouth.
On 4th February 1782 Hugh Boscawen 2nd Viscount Falmouth (age 77) died. His nephew George (age 23) succeeded 3rd Viscount Falmouth.
On 11th February 1808 George Evelyn Boscawen 3rd Viscount Falmouth (age 49) died. His son Edward (age 20) succeeded 4th Viscount Falmouth.
On 27th August 1810 Edward Boscawen 1st Earl Falmouth (age 23) and Anne Frances Bankes Countess Falmouth (age 20) were married. She by marriage Viscountess Falmouth.
On 29th December 1841 Edward Boscawen 1st Earl Falmouth (age 54) died. His son George (age 30) succeeded 2nd Earl Falmouth, 5th Viscount Falmouth.
On 29th August 1852 George Boscawen 2nd Earl Falmouth (age 41) died without issue. Earl Falmouth extinct. His first cousin Evelyn (age 33) succeeded 6th Viscount Falmouth.
On 6th November 1889 Evelyn Boscawen 6th Viscount Falmouth (age 70) died. His son Evelyn (age 42) succeeded 7th Viscount Falmouth. Kathleen Douglas-Pennant Viscount Falmouth (age 28) by marriage Viscountess Falmouth.

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

On 18th February 1962 Evelyn Hugh Boscawen 8th Viscount Falmouth (age 74) died. His son George (age 42) succeeded 9th Viscount Falmouth, 16th Baron Despencer.
On 7th March 2022 George Hugh Boscawen 9th Viscount Falmouth died. His son Evelyn (age 66) succeeded 10th Viscount Falmouth, 17th Baron Despencer.
