Biography of Fastrada Queen of the Franks and Lombardy, Holy Roman Empress 765-794

Around 765 Fastrada Queen of the Franks and Lombardy, Holy Roman Empress was born to Rudolph Count Frankia.

In 784 Charles "Charlemagne aka Great" King Franks King Lombardy Holy Roman Emperor (age 41) and Fastrada Queen of the Franks and Lombardy, Holy Roman Empress (age 19) were married. She by marriage Queen of the Franks, Queen Lombardy, Holy Roman Empress. The difference in their ages was 22 years.

In 787 [her daughter] Hiltrude Carolingian was born to [her husband] Charles "Charlemagne aka Great" King Franks King Lombardy Holy Roman Emperor (age 44) and Fastrada Queen of the Franks and Lombardy, Holy Roman Empress (age 22).

Around 794 [her step-son] Louis "Pious" King Aquitaine I King Franks (age 16) and Ermengarde Hesbaye Queen Consort Aquitaine (age 16) were married. She by marriage Queen Consort Aquitaine. He the son of [her husband] Charles "Charlemagne aka Great" King Franks King Lombardy Holy Roman Emperor (age 51) and Hildegard Vinzgouw Queen Franks Queen Lombardy Holy Roman Empress.

On 10th August 794 Fastrada Queen of the Franks and Lombardy, Holy Roman Empress (age 29) died in Frankfurt. She was buried in St Alban's Abbey Mainz.

Death of Charlemagne

On 28th January 814 [her former husband] Charles "Charlemagne aka Great" King Franks King Lombardy Holy Roman Emperor (age 71) died. His son [her former step-son] Louis (age 36) succeeded King of the Franks.
