She a granddaughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.
On 20th October 1767 Marie Sophie Hesse-Kassel Queen Consort Denmark and Norway was born to [her father] Charles Hesse-Kassel (age 22) and [her mother] Louise Oldenburg (age 17). She a great granddaughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland. Coefficient of inbreeding 6.89%.
On 31st July 1790 Frederick VI King of Denmark and Norway (age 22) and Marie Sophie Hesse-Kassel Queen Consort Denmark and Norway (age 22) were married. He the son of Christian VII King of Denmark and Norway (age 41) and Caroline Matilda Hanover Queen Consort Denmark and Norway. They were first cousins. He a great grandson of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland. She a great granddaughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.
On 13th November 1794 Frederick Christian Oldenburg I Duke Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Augustenburg (age 73) died. His son Frederick (age 29) succeeded Christian II Duke Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Augustenburg. [her sister-in-law] Louise Auguste Oldenburg Duchess Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Augustenburg (age 23) by marriage Duchess Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Augustenburg.
On 13th March 1808 [her uncle] Christian VII King of Denmark and Norway (age 59) died. His son [her husband] Frederick (age 40) succeeded VI King of Denmark and Norway. Marie Sophie Hesse-Kassel Queen Consort Denmark and Norway (age 40) by marriage Queen Consort Denmark and Norway.
On 26th January 1810 [her brother-in-law] Friedrich Wilhelm Glücksburg Duke Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Glücksburg (age 25) and [her sister] Louise Caroline Hesse-Kassel Duchess Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Glücksburg (age 20) were married. He the son of Friedrich Karl Ludwig Oldenburg I Duke Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck (age 52) and Friederike Schlieben Duchess Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck.
On 24th April 1816 Friedrich Karl Ludwig Oldenburg I Duke Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck (age 58) died at Wellingsbüttel Manor. His son [her brother-in-law] Friedrich (age 31) succeeded Duke Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Glücksburg. [her sister] Louise Caroline Hesse-Kassel Duchess Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Glücksburg (age 26) by marriage Duchess Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Glücksburg.
William of Worcester's Chronicle of England
William of Worcester, born around 1415, and died around 1482 was secretary to John Fastolf, the renowned soldier of the Hundred Years War, during which time he collected documents, letters, and wrote a record of events. Following their return to England in 1440 William was witness to major events. Twice in his chronicle he uses the first person: 1. when writing about the murder of Thomas, 7th Baron Scales, in 1460, he writes '… and I saw him lying naked in the cemetery near the porch of the church of St. Mary Overie in Southwark …' and 2. describing King Edward IV's entry into London in 1461 he writes '… proclaimed that all the people themselves were to recognize and acknowledge Edward as king. I was present and heard this, and immediately went down with them into the city'. William’s Chronicle is rich in detail. It is the source of much information about the Wars of the Roses, including the term 'Diabolical Marriage' to describe the marriage of Queen Elizabeth Woodville’s brother John’s marriage to Katherine, Dowager Duchess of Norfolk, he aged twenty, she sixty-five or more, and the story about a paper crown being placed in mockery on the severed head of Richard, 3rd Duke of York.

On 3rd December 1839 [her husband] Frederick VI King of Denmark and Norway (age 71) died.
On 21st March 1852 Marie Sophie Hesse-Kassel Queen Consort Denmark and Norway (age 84) died.
