On 10th November 1888 George Charles Bingham 3rd Earl Lucan [aged 88] died at 13 South Street Park Lane. His son Charles [aged 58] succeeded 4th Earl Lucan of Castlebar in Mayo, 4th Baron Lucan of Castlebar in Mayo, 10th Baronet Bingham of Castlebar in County Mayo. Cecilia Catherine Gordon-Lennox Countess Lucan [aged 50] by marriage Countess Lucan of Castlebar in Mayo.
