In 1811 Augustus Ludlow 2nd Earl Ludlow died. His brother George (age 52) succeeded 3rd Earl Ludlow, 3rd Viscount Preston of Ardsalaa in Meath, 3rd Baron Ludlow of Ardsalaa in Meath.
