On 12 Jan 1778 [his father] Henry Fane of Fulbeck (age 38) and [his mother] Anne Buckley Batson (age 20) were married. He the son of Thomas Fane 8th Earl of Westmoreland and Elizabeth Swymmer Countess Westmoreland.

In Sep 1794 General Mildmay Fane was born to Henry Fane of Fulbeck (age 55) and Anne Buckley Batson (age 36).

On 04 Jun 1802 [his father] Henry Fane of Fulbeck (age 63) died. He was buried at St Nicholas' Church, Fulbeck. [his brother] General Henry Fane (age 23) inherited Fulbeck Hall.

In 1810 General Mildmay Fane (age 15) joined the Army.

Battle of Vitoria

On 21 Jun 1813 the Battle of Vitoria was fought between a British, Portuguese and Spanish army under the Marquess of Wellington (age 44) and the French army under King Joseph Bonaparte and Marshal Jean-Baptiste Jourdan.

Battle of Quatre Bras

On 16 Jun 1815 Henry William Paget 1st Marquess Anglesey (age 47) fought and Algernon Frederick Greville (age 16) fought.

James Hay (age 18) was killed.

General Mildmay Fane (age 20) and Thomas Elmsley Croft 7th Baronet (age 16) were wounded.

On 19 Jan 1838 [his mother] Anne Buckley Batson (age 80) died at Fulbeck Hall. She was buried at St Nicholas' Church, Fulbeck.

On 27 Mar 1863 General Mildmay Fane (age 68) was promoted to General.

On 12 Mar 1868 General Mildmay Fane (age 73) died from a fall from a horse whilst hunting. He was unmarried.

After 12 Mar 1868. Monument to General Mildmay Fane (deceased) at St Nicholas' Church, Fulbeck. Inscription ... In memory of General Mildmay Fane 7th son of the Honble H. Fane of Fulbeck who served in the Peninsula at the Battle of Vittoria, Assault & Capture of San Sebastian and the Battle of the Nile, also in the Campaign of 1815 including the Battle of Quatre Bras in which he was wounded. Died March 12th 1868, aged 73. This tablet was erected by officers of the 54th Regiment who served under him as their commanding officer between 1828 and 1851 in token of their great esteem for his memory and of honour , respect and love with which they regarded him.
