Thomas de Multon 1st Baron Multon was created 1st Baron Multon Egremont. Eleanor Burgh Baroness Multon Egremont (age 17) by marriage Baroness Multon Egremont.

On 6th January 1327 Edmund Deincourt 1st Baron Deincourt (age 77) died at Emley Wakefield. His nephew William (age 26) succeeded 2nd Baron Deincourt. Millicent Zouche Baroness Deincourt by marriage Baroness Deincourt.
On 2nd June 1364 William Deincourt 2nd Baron Deincourt (age 63) died. His eldest son died the same day - the cause of death of both men is unknown. His son William (age 6) succeeded 3rd Baron Deincourt.
Before 15th October 1381 William Deincourt 3rd Baron Deincourt (age 23) and Alice Neville Baroness Deincourt (age 23) were married. She by marriage Baroness Deincourt. They were third cousin twice removed. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England.
On 15th October 1381, or 16th, William Deincourt 3rd Baron Deincourt (age 23) died at Stirling [Map]. His son Ralph (age 1) succeeded 4th Baron Deincourt.
On 7th November 1384 Ralph Deincourt 4th Baron Deincourt (age 4) died. His brother John (age 2) succeeded 5th Baron Deincourt.
On 11th May 1406 John Deincourt 5th Baron Deincourt (age 24) died at Blankney, Lincolnshire. He was buried at Blankney, Lincolnshire. His son William (age 3) succeeded 6th Baron Deincourt.
On 3rd January 1418 William Deincourt 6th Baron Deincourt 6th Baron Grey (age 15) and Elizabeth Beaumont Baroness Deincourt and Grey (age 18) were married. She by marriage Baroness Deincourt and Baroness Grey of Rotherfield. They were fourth cousin once removed. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Henry III of England.
On 5th September 1422 William Deincourt 6th Baron Deincourt 6th Baron Grey (age 19) died. Baron Deincourt and Baron Grey of Rotherfield abeyant between his two sisters Alice Deincourt 6th Baroness Deincourt and Grey, Baroness Lovel and Sudeley (age 18) and Margaret Deincourt Baroness Cromwell (age 16).
Before 10th February 1474 Margaret Deincourt Baroness Cromwell (age 68) died. Her sister Alice (age 69) abeyance terminated 7th Baroness Deincourt, 7th Baroness Grey of Rotherfield.

On 10th February 1474 Alice Deincourt 6th Baroness Deincourt and Grey, Baroness Lovel and Sudeley (age 69) died at Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire. Her grandson Francis (age 18) succeeded 8th Baron Deincourt, 8th Baron Grey of Rotherfield, and the feudal barony of Bedale.
On 16th June 1487 a Lancastrian army defeated a Yorkist army at the Battle of Stoke Field; considered by many to be the last battle of the Wars of the Roses.

Thomas Fitzgerald (age 29) and Martin Schwartz were killed.
Lambert Simnel (age 10) fought and was captured. He was pardoned by King Henry VII and put to work in the in the royal kitchen as a spit-turner. When he grew older, he became a falconer. Almost no information about his later life is known.
Francis Lovell 1st Viscount Lovell (age 31) fought and escaped. He was attainted. Viscount Lovell, Baron Deincourt, Baron Grey of Rotherfield, Baron Lovel of Titchmarsh, Baron Holand forfeit.
Edmund Peckham was granted the manors of Alford, Eccles, Alderley, Chester, and Flint.

On 27th January 1681 Nicholas Leke 2nd Earl Scarsdale (age 69) died. His son Robert (age 26) succeeded 3rd Earl Scarsdale, 3rd Baron Deincourt of Sutton, 3rd Baronet Leke of Sutton in Derbyshire. Mary Lewis Countess Scarsdale (age 23) by marriage Countess Scarsdale.
On 27th December 1707 Robert Leke 3rd Earl Scarsdale (age 53) died without surviving issue. His nephew Nicholas (age 25) succeeded 4th Earl Scarsdale, 4th Baron Deincourt of Sutton, 4th Baronet Leke of Sutton in Derbyshire.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed."
