Before 1040 [his father] Stephen Blois II Count Troyes and Meaux and [his mother] Adele Unknown were married. He the son of Odo Blois II Count Blois and Ermengarde Auvergne Countess Blois (age 69).

Around 1040 Odo Blois Count Troyes, Champagne and Aumale and 1st Earl Holderness was born to Stephen Blois II Count Troyes and Meaux and Adele Unknown.
