On 09 Nov 1780 [his father] Ralph Gee (age 82) died. Thomas Gee (age 30) inherited Ashes Farm, Kinder [Map].
On 01 Dec 1781 [his son] John Gee was born to Thomas Gee (age 31) and [his wife] Betty Bennett.
On 09 May 1805 [his son] John Gee (age 23) and [his daughter-in-law] Mary Carrington were married at All Saints Church, Glossop [Map]. Witnesses were James CARINGTON and Robert CARRINGTON who were probably her brothers.
On 02 Sep 1824 [his wife] Betty Bennett died.

Husband Thomas GEE (age 74), Anne TOMMINS, Mr. John GEE of the Ashes, Mary GEE, wife of John GEE aforesaid; Mary TOMMINS - One Hundred pounds left to her by the late Edward BENNETT of Kinder; John GEE of kinder and James KINDER of Shire-oaks in the Parish of Glossop. WITNESSES: John Crowther, Thomas GEE. Probate extracted 14th February 1825 estate valued at under £800.
On 03 Apr 1846 Thomas Gee (age 95) died. [his son] John Gee (age 64) inherited Ashes Farm, Kinder [Map].
14 Jul 1846. Probate for GEE, Thomas of Kinder, Yeoman, a widower, died 3rd April 1846. Natural and lawful son John GEE of Kinder [Note. Is this a mistake for [his father] Ralph Gee] in the township of Hayfield, Yeoman & one of the next of kin of the deceased, Samuel WASSE of Hayfield, Clerk & John MARRIOTT, of Hayfield, Yeoman. Administration was granted 14th July 1846. Estate Sworn as under the value of £200.
