On 26 Feb 1807 [his uncle] Thomas Ralph Maude 2nd Viscount Hawarden (age 39) died. His half brother [his father] Cornwallis Maude 3rd Viscount Hawarden (age 26) succeeded 3rd Viscount Hawarden, 3rd Baron Montalt of Hawarden in Tipperary, 5th Baronet of Dundrum in Tipperary.
On 08 Jul 1811 [his father] Cornwallis Maude 3rd Viscount Hawarden (age 31) and [his mother] Jane Crawfurd Bruce were married. She by marriage Viscountess Hawarden.
On 04 Apr 1817 Cornwallis Maude 1st Earl Montalt was born to Cornwallis Maude 3rd Viscount Hawarden (age 37) and Jane Crawfurd Bruce.
On 24 Mar 1845 Cornwallis Maude 1st Earl Montalt (age 27) and Clementina Elphinstone-Fleming Viscountess Hawarden (age 22) were married.

On 19 Jul 1860 John Elphinstone 13th Lord Elphinstone (age 53) died at King Street. His first cousin [his brother-in-law] John Elphinstone-Fleming 14th Lord Elphinstone (age 40) succeeded 14th Lord Elphinstone.
On 13 Jan 1861 [his brother-in-law] John Elphinstone-Fleming 14th Lord Elphinstone (age 41) died. His second cousin William Buller Fullerton Elphinstone 15th Lord Elphinstone (age 32) succeeded 15th Lord Elphinstone. Constance Euphemia Woronzow Murray Lady Elphinstone (age 22) by marriage Lord Elphinstone.
On 19 Jan 1865 [his wife] Clementina Elphinstone-Fleming Viscountess Hawarden (age 42) died.
On 28 Jan 1869 [his son-in-law] Reginald Charles Abbot 3rd Baron Colchester (age 27) and [his daughter] Isabella Grace Maude (age 23) were married. She the daughter of Cornwallis Maude 1st Earl Montalt (age 51) and Clementina Elphinstone-Fleming Viscountess Hawarden.
