Jean de Waurin's Chronicle of England Volume 6 Books 3-6: The Wars of the Roses

Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. Waurin’s Chronicle of England, Volume 6, covering the period 1450 to 1471, from which we have selected and translated Chapters relating to the Wars of the Roses, provides a vivid, original, contemporary description of key events some of which he witnessed first-hand, some of which he was told by the key people involved with whom Waurin had a personal relationship.

Biography of Admiral William Parker 1st Baronet 1781-1866

Paternal Family Tree: Parker of Devon

On 1st December 1781 Admiral William Parker 1st Baronet was born to [his father] George Parker.

On 14th August 1824 [his son] William Parker 2nd Baronet was born to Admiral William Parker 1st Baronet (age 42) and [his future wife] Frances Anne Biddulph (age 40). He married 6th June 1885 his first cousin Jane Constance Biddulph, daughter of Theophilus Biddulph 6th Baronet and Jane Rebecca Vyner Lady Biddulph.

On 30th July 1841 [his future wife] Frances Anne Biddulph (age 57) died.

Treaty of Nanking

On 11th November 1844 Admiral William Parker 1st Baronet (age 62) was created 1st Baronet Parker of Shenstone.

On 13th November 1866 Admiral William Parker 1st Baronet (age 84) died. Monument in Lichfield Cathedral [Map]. His son William (age 42) succeeded 2nd Baronet Parker of Shenstone.

William Parker 2nd Baronet: On 14th August 1824 he was born to Admiral William Parker 1st Baronet and Frances Anne Biddulph. On 6th June 1885 William Parker 2nd Baronet and Jane Constance Biddulph were married. They were first cousins. On 23rd January 1902 William Parker 2nd Baronet died. His son William succeeded 3rd Baronet Parker of Shenstone.

Before 1876 Admiral William Parker 1st Baronet and Frances Anne Biddulph were married. They had two sons and six daughters.
