On 22nd April 1433 John Duke Bedford (age 43) and [her mother] Jacquetta Luxemburg (age 18) were married at Thérouanne [Map]. She by marriage Duchess Bedford. The difference in their ages was 25 years. She the daughter of [her grandfather] Peter Luxemburg I Count Saint Pol (age 43) and [her grandmother] Margherita Baux (age 39). He the son of King Henry IV of England and Mary Bohun. They were half fifth cousins. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Henry III of England.
The marriage caused a rift with Philip "Good" Duke Burgundy (age 36), John's late wife's brother, who regarded the marriage, some five months after his sister's death, an insult to her memory. There was no issue from the marriage with John dying a year and a half later.
Before 1437 [her father] Richard Woodville 1st Earl Rivers (age 31) and [her mother] Jacquetta of Luxemburg Duchess Bedford (age 21) were married. She the daughter of [her grandfather] Peter Luxemburg I Count Saint Pol and [her grandmother] Margherita Baux (age 42).
Around 1458 Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham and Bedford was born to [her father] Richard Woodville 1st Earl Rivers (age 53) and [her mother] Jacquetta of Luxemburg Duchess Bedford (age 43).
In 1459 [her father] Richard Woodville 1st Earl Rivers (age 54) was appointed Warden of the Cinque Ports.
Around 1459 [her future husband] Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford (age 27) was appointed 180th Knight of the Garter by King Henry VI of England and II of France (age 37).
In 1460 John Cheney 1st Baron Cheyne (age 18) was appointed Esquire to the Body to [her sister] Elizabeth Woodville Queen Consort England (age 23).
On 20th July 1460 Thomas Scales 7th Baron Scales (age 63) was murdered by boatmen whilst travelling from the Tower of London [Map] to Sanctuary, Westminster Abbey [Map]. His daughter [her future sister-in-law] Elizabeth succeeded 8th Baroness Scales. She was, or had been married to, Henry Bourchier (the year of his death may been 1458). She was in 1466 married to [her brother] Anthony Woodville 2nd Earl Rivers (age 20), brother of [her future brother-in-law] King Edward IV's (age 18) wife [her sister] Elizabeth Woodville Queen Consort England (age 23); an example of the Woodville family marrying rich heiresses.
On 2nd February 1461 following the battle Owen Tudor (age 61) was beheaded in the Market Place, Hereford [Map]. He was buried thereafter in Greyfriars Church, Hereford in a tomb paid for by his son [her illegitimate brother-in-law] David Owen (age 2). Somewhat curious that his other son [her future husband] Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford (age 29) didn't contribute although the political situation may have made it difficult to do so.

On 1st May 1464 [her brother-in-law] King Edward IV of England (age 22) and [her sister] Elizabeth Woodville Queen Consort England (age 27) were married at Grafton Regis, Northamptonshire [Map]. [her mother] Jacquetta of Luxemburg Duchess Bedford (age 49), Elizabeth's mother, being the only witness. The date not certain. She the daughter of [her father] Richard Woodville 1st Earl Rivers (age 59) and Jacquetta of Luxemburg Duchess Bedford. He the son of Richard Plantagenet 3rd Duke of York and Cecily "Rose of Raby" Neville Duchess York (age 48). They were sixth cousins. He a great x 2 grandson of King Edward III of England.
After 1st May 1464 [her brother] Anthony Woodville 2nd Earl Rivers (age 24) and [her sister-in-law] Elizabeth Scales Countess Rivers were married. He by marriage Baron Scales. On 26th May 1465 [her sister] Elizabeth Woodville Queen Consort England (age 28) was crowned Queen Consort England by Cardinal Thomas Bourchier (age 47) at Westminster Abbey [Map].

The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 12th August 1469 Woodvilles father and son were beheaded at Kenilworth Castle [Map] by supporters of Richard "Kingmaker" Neville Earl Warwick, 6th Earl Salisbury (age 40).
[her father] Richard Woodville 1st Earl Rivers (age 64) was beheaded. His son [her brother] Anthony (age 29) succeeded 2nd Earl Rivers, 2nd Baron Rivers. [her sister-in-law] Elizabeth Scales Countess Rivers by marriage Countess Rivers.
[her brother] John Woodville (age 24) was beheaded.
On 30th May 1472 [her mother] Jacquetta of Luxemburg Duchess Bedford (age 57) died. Not known where she was buried.
On 3rd February 1478 [her son] Edward Stafford 3rd Duke of Buckingham was born to [her husband] Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham (age 23) and Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham and Bedford (age 20) at Brecon Castle [Map]. He married December 1489 his third cousin Eleanor Percy Duchess Buckingham, daughter of Henry Percy 4th Earl of Northumberland and Maud Herbert Countess Northumberland, and had issue.
In November 1478 [her brother] Bishop Lionel Woodville (age 31) was appointed Dean of Exeter which he held until 1482.
Around 1479 [her daughter] Elizabeth Stafford Countess Sussex was born to [her husband] Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham (age 24) and Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham and Bedford (age 21). She married after 23rd July 1505 her fifth cousin once removed Robert Radclyffe 1st Earl of Sussex, son of John Radclyffe 9th Baron Fitzwalter and Margaret Whetehill, and had issue.
Around 1479 [her son] Henry Stafford 1st Earl Wiltshire was born to [her husband] Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham (age 24) and Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham and Bedford (age 21). He married 1504 his second cousin once removed Cecily Bonville Marchioness Dorset, daughter of William Bonville 6th Baron Harington and Katherine Neville Baroness Bonville and Hastings.
Around 1481 [her sister] Mary Woodville Countess Pembroke and Huntingdon (age 25) died.
On 21st April 1482 [her brother] Bishop Lionel Woodville (age 35) was consecrated as Bishop of Salisbury.
Around 1483 [her daughter] Anne Stafford Countess Huntingdon was born to [her husband] Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham (age 28) and Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham and Bedford (age 25). She married (1) 1503 Walter Herbert, son of William Herbert 1st Earl Pembroke and Anne Devereux (2) December 1509 her third cousin George Hastings 1st Earl Huntingdon, son of Edward Hastings 2nd Baron Hastings Baron Botreaux, Hungerford and Moleyns and Mary Hungerford Baroness Hastings, 4th Baroness Hungerford, 5th Baroness Botreaux and 2nd Baroness Moleyns, and had issue.
On 9th April 1483 [her brother-in-law] King Edward IV of England (age 40) died at Westminster [Map]. His son [her nephew] Edward (age 12) succeeded V King of England. Those present included [her sister] Elizabeth Woodville Queen Consort England (age 46), William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings (age 52) and [her nephew] Thomas Grey 1st Marquess Dorset (age 28).
On 13th June 1483 Richard, Duke of Gloucester (age 30), [future King Richard III] held a Council meeting at the Tower of London [Map] attended by William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings (age 52), Cardinal John Morton (age 63), Archbishop Thomas Rotherham (age 59) and [her husband] Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham (age 28). During the course of the meeting Richard accused William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings, Cardinal John Morton and Archbishop Thomas Rotherham of treasonable conspiracy with the [her sister] Queen (age 46).
William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings was summarily beheaded at Tower Green, Tower of London [Map]. He was buried in North Aisle St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle [Map] next to [her former brother-in-law] King Edward IV of England. His son Edward (age 16) succeeded 2nd Baron Hastings.
Cardinal John Morton and Archbishop Thomas Rotherham were arrested.
On 2nd November 1483 [her husband] Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham (age 29) was beheaded in Salisbury Marketplace [Map] for his part in the rebellion. Duke of Buckingham forfeit. His son [her son] Edward (age 5) succeeded 8th Earl Stafford, 9th Baron Stafford.
Around 23rd June 1484 [her brother] Bishop Lionel Woodville (age 37) died.
On 28th October 1485 [her future husband] Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford (age 53) was created 1st Duke Bedford by Henry VII (age 28) for having supported Henry's claim to the throne. Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham and Bedford (age 27) by marriage Duchess Bedford.
Thomas Stanley 1st Earl of Derby (age 50) was created 1st Earl Derby.
Edward Courtenay 1st Earl Devon (age 26) was created 1st Earl Devon. It is believed he was restored as 11th Baron Okehampton at the same time?
Reginald Bray (age 45), John Fitzwalter, Thomas Cokesge, Roger Lewknor, Henry Haydon and John Verney were appointed Knight of the Bath.

The difference in their ages was 26 years. She the daughter of Richard Woodville 1st Earl Rivers and Jacquetta of Luxemburg Duchess Bedford. He the son of Owen Tudor and Catherine of Valois Queen Consort England. They were fifth cousins. He a great x 5 grandson of King Edward I of England.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." In December 1489 [her son] Edward Stafford 3rd Duke of Buckingham (age 11) and [her daughter-in-law] Eleanor Percy Duchess Buckingham were married. She by marriage Duchess of Buckingham. The executors of her father Henry Percy 4th Earl of Northumberland, who had been hanged by rebels during the Northern Rebellion earlier in the year, having paid King Henry VII of England and Ireland (age 32) £4000 for the privilege. His father, [her former husband] Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham, had been hanged for treason in 1483. She the daughter of Henry Percy 4th Earl of Northumberland and Maud Herbert Countess Northumberland. He the son of Henry Stafford 2nd Duke of Buckingham and Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham and Bedford (age 31). They were third cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward III of England. On 8th June 1492 [her sister] Elizabeth Woodville Queen Consort England (age 55) died at Bermondsey Abbey [Map]. She was buried in the Chantry Chapel next to the Altar, St George's Chapel [Map] with her husband [her former brother-in-law] King Edward IV of England.
On 21st December 1495 [her husband] Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford (age 64) died at Thornbury Manor without legitimate issue. He was buried at Keynsham Abbey [Map]. Duke Bedford, Earl Pembroke extinct.
On 24th January 1496 Richard Wingfield (age 27) and Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham and Bedford (age 38) were married. She the daughter of Richard Woodville 1st Earl Rivers and Jacquetta of Luxemburg Duchess Bedford.
