On 5th April 1892 John Collingwood Bruce (age 87) died. Monument at the Cathedral Church St Nicholas, Newcastle upon Tyne [Map] showing Bruce with his feet resting on his book "Hadrian's Wall" sculpted by George Blackall Simonds (age 48) in 1896.
John Collingwood Bruce: In 1805 he was born to John Bruce. In 1833 he and Charlotte Gainsford were married.
On 16th December 1929 George Blackall Simonds (age 86) died.
