Around 1548 Giles Brydges 3rd Baron Chandos was born to [his father] Edmund Brydges 2nd Baron Chandos [aged 26] and [his mother] Dorothy Braye Baroness Chandos and Knollys [aged 24] at Sudeley Castle [Map].

On 12th April 1557 [his grandfather] John Brydges 1st Baron Chandos [aged 65] died at Sudeley Castle [Map]. His son [his father] Edmund [aged 35] succeeded 2nd Baron Chandos of Sudeley. [his mother] Dorothy Braye Baroness Chandos and Knollys [aged 33] by marriage Baroness Chandos of Sudeley.

In or before 1565 [his brother-in-law] William Sandys 3rd Baron Sandys of the Vyne [aged 21] and [his sister] Katharine Brydges Baroness Sandys [aged 9] were married. She by marriage Baroness Sandys of The Vyne in Hampshire. They were fifth cousin once removed.

In 1571 Giles Brydges 3rd Baron Chandos [aged 23] was elected MP Cricklade.

In 1572 Giles Brydges 3rd Baron Chandos [aged 24] was elected MP Gloucestershire.

Before 1573 Giles Brydges 3rd Baron Chandos [aged 24] and Anne Clinton [aged 21] were married. She by marriage Baroness Chandos of Sudeley. She the daughter of Edward Clinton 1st Earl Lincoln [aged 60] and Ursula Stourton Baroness Clinton. They were fifth cousin once removed.

On 11th March 1573 [his father] Edmund Brydges 2nd Baron Chandos [aged 51] died. His son Giles [aged 25] succeeded 3rd Baron Chandos of Sudeley.

Around 1578 [his daughter] Elizabeth Brydges was born to Giles Brydges 3rd Baron Chandos [aged 30] and [his wife] Anne Clinton [aged 26].

Around 1580 [his daughter] Catherine Brydges Countess Bedford was born to Giles Brydges 3rd Baron Chandos [aged 32] and [his wife] Anne Clinton [aged 28]. She married before August 1616 Francis Russell 4th Earl Bedford, son of William Russell 1st Baron Russell and Elizabeth Long Baroness Russel Thornhaugh, and had issue.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. She the daughter of Richard Morrison and Bridget Hussey Countess Bedford [aged 60]. He the son of [his father-in-law] Edward Clinton 1st Earl Lincoln and Ursula Stourton Baroness Clinton. They were fifth cousins.

In 1592 Giles Brydges 3rd Baron Chandos [aged 44] entertained Queen Elizabeth I of England and Ireland [aged 58].

On 21st February 1594 Giles Brydges 3rd Baron Chandos [aged 46] died. His brother William [aged 42] succeeded 4th Baron Chandos of Sudeley. Mary Hopton Baroness Chandos by marriage Baroness Chandos of Sudeley.

Before 1595 [his step-father] William Knollys 1st Earl Banbury [aged 50] and [his mother] Dorothy Braye Baroness Chandos and Knollys [aged 70] were married. The difference in their ages was 20 years; she, unusually, being older than him.

In 1629 [his former wife] Anne Clinton [aged 77] died.
