Biography of John Brunner 1st Baronet 1842-1919

Paternal Family Tree: Brunner

On 8th February 1842 John Brunner 1st Baronet was born to Reverend John Brunner (age 41) at Everton, Lancashire.

On 14th June 1864 John Brunner 1st Baronet (age 22) and Salome Davies were married.

On 24th May 1865 [his son] John Brunner 2nd Baronet was born to John Brunner 1st Baronet (age 23) and [his wife] Salome Davies.

On 22nd January 1874 [his daughter] Hilda Brunner Viscountess Dillon was born to John Brunner 1st Baronet (age 31) and [his wife] Salome Davies.

On 29th January 1874 [his wife] Salome Davies died.

In 1885 John Brunner 1st Baronet (age 42) was elected MP Northwich which seat he held until 1886.

In 1887 John Brunner 1st Baronet (age 44) was elected MP Northwich which seat he held until 1910.

Before 6th February 1895 [his son] John Brunner 2nd Baronet (age 29) and [his daughter-in-law] Lucy Marianne Morgan Lady Brunner were married.

The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

In 1906 John Brunner 1st Baronet (age 63) was appointed to the Privy Council.

On 5th January 1907 [his son-in-law] Arthur Henry Dillon 18th Viscount Dillon (age 32) and [his daughter] Hilda Brunner Viscountess Dillon (age 32) were married.
