The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Before November 1648 [his father] John Grobham Howe (age 23) and [his mother] Annabella Scrope (age 19) were married. She the illegitmate daughter of [his grandfather] Emanuel Scrope 1st Earl of Sunderland and [his grandmother] Martha Jeanes.

In November 1648 Scrope Howe 1st was born to [his father] John Grobham Howe (age 23) and [his mother] Annabella Scrope (age 19).

On 8th September 1665 Scrope Howe 1st (age 16) was awarded Master Arts at Christ Church College, Oxford University.

In 1674 Scrope Howe 1st (age 25) and Anne Manners (age 19) were married. She the daughter of John Manners 8th Earl of Rutland (age 69) and Frances Montagu Countess Rutland.

In 1674 [his daughter] Anabella Howe was born to Scrope Howe 1st (age 25) and [his wife] Anne Manners (age 19).

In 1679 [his father] John Grobham Howe (age 54) died. On 27th May 1679 he was buried at Langar, Nottinghamshire.

In 1698 Scrope Howe 1st (age 49) and Juliana Alington Viscountess Howe (age 49) were married.

In 1700 [his son] Emanuel Howe 2nd Viscount Howe was born to Scrope Howe 1st (age 51) and [his wife] Juliana Alington Viscountess Howe (age 51). He married 8th August 1719 Sophia Von Keilmansegg Viscountess Howe, daughter of Johan Adolf Von Kielmansegg and Sophia Charlotte Hanover Countess of Darlington and Leinster, and had issue.

John Evelyn's Diary. 4th April 1701. The Duke of Norfolk (deceased) died of an apoplexy, and Mr. Thomas Howard of complicated disease since his being cut for the stone; he was one of the Tellers of the Exchequer. Mr. How (age 52) made a Baron.

On 16th May 1701 Scrope Howe 1st (age 52) was created 1st Viscount Howe, 1st Baron Glenawley. [his wife] Juliana Alington Viscountess Howe (age 52) by marriage Viscountess Howe.

In 1703 [his mother] Annabella Scrope (age 74) died.

On 26th January 1713 Scrope Howe 1st (age 64) died. His son Emanuel (age 13) succeeded 2nd Viscount Howe, 2nd Baron Glenawley.

On 10th September 1747 [his former wife] Juliana Alington Viscountess Howe (age 98) died.

[his daughter] Anne Howe was born to Scrope Howe 1st and Juliana Alington Viscountess Howe.

[his daughter] Judith Howe was born to Scrope Howe 1st and Juliana Alington Viscountess Howe. She married 29th May 1725 Thomas Page, son of Gregory Page 1st Baronet and Mary Trotman Lady Turner.

[his daughter] Mary Howe Countess Pembroke and Montgomery was born to Scrope Howe 1st and Juliana Alington Viscountess Howe. She married (1) after 1st August 1721 her fourth cousin twice removed Thomas Herbert 8th Earl Pembroke 5th Earl Montgomery, son of Philip Herbert 5th Earl Pembroke 2nd Earl Montgomery and Catherine Villiers Countess Pembroke and Montgomery (2) November 1735 her second cousin once removed John Mordaunt.
