On 27th September 1732 William Clavering-Cowper 2nd Earl Cowper (age 23) and Henrietta Nassau 2nd Countess Cowper (age 19) were married. She by marriage Countess Cowper. She the daughter of Henry Nassau 1st Earl Grantham (age 59) and Henrietta Butler Countess Grantham. He the son of William Cowper 1st Earl Cowper and Mary Clavering Countess Cowper.

On 22nd December 1789 George Nassau Clavering-Cowper 3rd Earl Cowper (age 51) died. His son George (age 13) succeeded 4th Earl Cowper, 4th Baron Cowper of Wingham in Kent, 6th Baronet Cowper of Ratling Court in Kent.

On 12th February 1799 George Augustus Clavering-Cowper 4th Earl Cowper (age 22) died. His brother Peter (age 20) succeeded 5th Earl Cowper.

The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy

The Gesta Normannorum Ducum [The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy] is a landmark medieval chronicle tracing the rise and fall of the Norman dynasty from its early roots through the pivotal events surrounding the Norman Conquest of England. In 1833 George Augustus Frederick Cowper 6th Earl Cowper (age 26) and Ann Florence Robinson Countess Cowper (age 27) were married. She by marriage Countess Cowper. She the daughter of Thomas de Grey 2nd Earl de Grey (age 51) and Henrietta Cole Countess de Grey (age 48). He the son of Peter Nassau Clavering-Cowper 5th Earl Cowper (age 54) and Emily Lamb Countess Cowper (age 45).

On 21st June 1837 Peter Nassau Clavering-Cowper 5th Earl Cowper (age 59) died. His son George (age 30) succeeded 6th Earl Cowper, 5th Baron Cowper of Wingham in Kent, 7th Baronet Cowper of Ratling Court in Kent.

On 15th April 1856 George Augustus Frederick Cowper 6th Earl Cowper (age 49) died. His son Francis (age 21) succeeded 7th Earl Cowper, 6th Baron Cowper of Wingham in Kent, 8th Baronet Cowper of Ratling Court in Kent.

In 1870 Francis Thomas Cowper 7th Earl Cowper (age 35) and Katrine Cecilia Compton Countess Cowper (age 25) were married. She by marriage Countess Cowper. She the daughter of William Compton 4th Marquess Northampton (age 52). He the son of George Augustus Frederick Cowper 6th Earl Cowper and Ann Florence Robinson Countess Cowper (age 64).
