Biography of Martha Armagnac Queen Consort Aragon 1347-1378

In 1311 [her father] John I Count Armagnac and Reine de Got Countess Armagnac were married. She by marriage Countess Armagnac.

After 18th February 1347 Martha Armagnac Queen Consort Aragon was born to John I Count Armagnac [aged 36] and Beatrice Clermont Countess Armagnac [aged 37].

On 21st November 1359 [her brother] John II Count Armagnac [aged 26] and [her sister-in-law] Jeanne Countess Armagnac were married. She the daughter of Roger Bernard Unknown Count Périgord. He the son of [her father] John I Count Armagnac [aged 48] and [her mother] Beatrice Clermont Countess Armagnac [aged 49].

Before 1362 [her brother-in-law] John Valois 1st Duke Berry [aged 21] and [her sister] Joanne Armagnac Duchess Berry [aged 15] were married. She by marriage Duchess Berry. She the daughter of [her father] John I Count Armagnac [aged 50] and [her mother] Beatrice Clermont Countess Armagnac [aged 51]. He the son of King John "The Good" II of France [aged 42] and Bonne Luxemburg Queen Consort France. They were third cousins. He a great x 5 grandson of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England.

In 1363 [her mother] Beatrice Clermont Countess Armagnac [aged 53] died.

On 16th May 1373 [her father] John I Count Armagnac [aged 62] died. His son [her brother] John [aged 40] succeeded II Count Armagnac. [her sister-in-law] Jeanne Countess Armagnac by marriage Countess Armagnac.

On 24th June 1373 King John I of Aragon [aged 22] and Martha Armagnac Queen Consort Aragon [aged 26] were married at Barcelona [Map]. She by marriage Queen Consort Aragon. She the daughter of John I Count Armagnac [deceased] and Beatrice Clermont Countess Armagnac. He the son of Peter IV King Aragon [aged 53] and Eleanor of Sicily Queen Consort Aragon [aged 48]. They were fourth cousin once removed. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England.

On 23rd October 1378 Martha Armagnac Queen Consort Aragon [aged 31] died.

On 2nd February 1380 [her former husband] King John I of Aragon [aged 29] and Yolande of Bar Queen Consort Aragon [aged 15] were married. She by marriage Queen Consort Aragon. She the daughter of Robert of Bar 1st Duke of Bar [aged 35] and Marie Valois Duchess Bar [aged 35]. He the son of [her former father-in-law] Peter IV King Aragon [aged 60] and [her former mother-in-law] Eleanor of Sicily Queen Consort Aragon. They were third cousin once removed. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Edward I of England.

On 19th May 1396 [her former husband] King John I of Aragon [aged 45] died in a hunting accident. His brother [her former brother-in-law] Martin [aged 39] succeeded I King Aragon.
