On 25th August 1886 [her son] Charles Hadfield was born to [her husband] Thomas Hadfield (age 29) and Elizabeth Oakes (age 34) at Mellor, Cheshire [Map]. He married (1) 30th December 1905 Caroline Wood and had issue (2) January 1920 Edith Fletcher.
