On 27th September 1739 Robert Stewart 1st Marquess Londonderry was born to Alexander Stewart (age 41) and Mary Cowan.

Before 1769 Robert Stewart 1st Marquess Londonderry (age 29) and Sarah Frances Seymour-Conway (age 21) were married. She the daughter of Francis Seymour-Conway 1st Marquess Hertford (age 50) and Isabella Fitzroy Countess Hertford (age 42).

On 18th June 1769 [his son] Robert Stewart 2nd Marquess Londonderry was born to Robert Stewart 1st Marquess Londonderry (age 29) and [his wife] Sarah Frances Seymour-Conway (age 21) at Henry Street, Dublin. He a great x 3 grandson of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.

On 20th July 1770 [his wife] Sarah Frances Seymour-Conway (age 22) died.

On 7th June 1775 Robert Stewart 1st Marquess Londonderry (age 35) and Frances Pratt Marchioness Londonderry (age 24) were married. She the daughter of Charles Pratt 1st Earl Camden (age 61) and Elizabeth Jeffreys (age 50).

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

In 1794 [his father-in-law] Charles Pratt 1st Earl Camden (age 80) died. In 1794 His son [his brother-in-law] John (age 35) succeeded 2nd Earl Camden, 2nd Viscount Bayham of Bayham Abbey in Kent, 2nd Baron Camden of Camden Place in Kent.

In 1794 [his son] Robert Stewart 2nd Marquess Londonderry (age 24) and [his daughter-in-law] Amelia Hobart (age 21) were married. She the daughter of John Hobart 2nd Earl Buckinghamshire and Caroline Conolly Countess Buckinghamshire. He the son of Robert Stewart 1st Marquess Londonderry (age 54) and [his former wife] Sarah Frances Seymour-Conway.

In 1799 [his brother-in-law] John Jeffreys Pratt 1st Marquess Camden (age 40) was appointed 622nd Knight of the Garter by King George III of Great Britain and Ireland (age 60).

In 1804 [his son] Charles William Vane 3rd Marquess Londonderry (age 26) and [his daughter-in-law] Catherine Bligh (age 29) were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square. She the daughter of John Bligh 3rd Earl Darnley. He the son of Robert Stewart 1st Marquess Londonderry (age 64) and [his wife] Frances Pratt Marchioness Londonderry (age 53).
