In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. This book presents a new translation of that letter, with additional material from other contemporary sources such as Letters, Hall's and Wriothesley's Chronicles, the pamphlets of Wynkyn the Worde, the Memorial of George Constantyne, the Portuguese Letter and the Baga de Secrets, all of which are provided in Appendices.

On 29th July 1981 Prince Charles [aged 32] and Diana Spencer Princess Wales [aged 20] were married at St Paul's Cathedral [Map]. She by marriage Princess of Wales. She the daughter of John Spencer 8th Earl Spencer [aged 57] and Frances Ruth Roche Countess Spencer [aged 45]. He the son of Philip Mountbatten Duke Edinburgh [aged 60] and Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom [aged 55].
On 21st June 1982 [his son] William Prince of Wales was born to King Charles III [aged 33] and [his wife] Diana Spencer Princess Wales [aged 20]. He a grandson of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. He married 29th April 2011 Catherine Middleton Princess of Wales.
On 15th September 1984 [his son] Prince Harry Windsor Duke Sussex was born to King Charles III [aged 35] and [his wife] Diana Spencer Princess Wales [aged 23]. He a grandson of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom.
On 29th January 1991 Hugh Grosvenor 7th Duke of Westminster was born to Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor 6th Duke Westminster [aged 39] and Natalia Phillips Duchess of Westminster [aged 31]. King Charles III [aged 42] was godfather. He married 7th June 2024 Olivia Henson.
On 31st August 1997 [his wife] Diana Spencer Princess Wales [aged 36] died at Pitié-Salpetrière Hospital. She was buried at Althorp House, Northamptonshire [Map].
The Visitor Centre at Rosslyn Chapel [Map] was opened by the Prince of Wales [aged 49] on 2nd April 1998.
On 9th April 2005 Prince Charles [aged 56] and Queen Consort Camilla Shand [aged 57] were married at Windsor Guildhall. He the son of Philip Mountbatten Duke Edinburgh [aged 83] and Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom [aged 78].
Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 15th February 2018 HRH The Prince of Wales [aged 69] unveiled a plaque at Bowes House, St Johns College, South Bailey, Durham to Dame Elizabeth Bowes 1651-1736 nee Blakiston, ancestor of his mother Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom [aged 91].
Elizabeth Blakiston: In 1651 she was born to Francis Blakiston 3rd Baronet. In 1693 William Bowes of Streatlam and she were married. In 1736 she died. She was buried at St James the Less Church, South Bailey, Durham.
On 12th September 2018 Prince Charles [aged 69] visited St Wilfrid's Church, Kirkharle [Map].
On 9th April 2021 [his father] Philip Mountbatten Duke Edinburgh [aged 99] died at Windsor Castle [Map]. His son Charles [aged 72] succeeded 2nd Duke Edinburgh.
On 8th September 2022 [his mother] Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom [aged 96] died. Her son Charles [aged 73] succeeded 3rd King of the United Kingdom.
