On 9th February 1845 Adrian Jones was born to James Brookholding Jones at Ludlow, Shropshire [Map] to James Brookholding Jones and Jane Marshal.
In 1867 Adrian Jones [aged 21] enrolled in the Army as a veterinary officer in the Royal Horse Artillery.
In 1868 Adrian Jones [aged 22] saw service in the Abyssinian Expedition.
In 1869 Adrian Jones [aged 23] joined the 3rd Hussars. From 1871 to 1881 he served with the Queen's Bays in Ireland and was then attached to the 7th Queen's Own Hussars and fought with them in the First Anglo-Boer War in 1881.
In 1870 Adrian Jones [aged 24] and Emma Buckingham of Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire1887 were married.
In 1887 [his wife] Emma Buckingham of Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire1887 died.
In 1891 Adrian Jones [aged 45] and Emma Wedlake were married.
In 1912 Adrian Jones [aged 66] became a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. He was elected Fellow in 1923.
On 24th January 1938 Adrian Jones [aged 92] died at his home 147 Church Street, Chelsea.
