In 1676 [his son] James Rushout 2nd Baronet was born to James Rushout 1st Baronet [aged 31] and [his wife] Alice Pitt Lady Rushout. He married 17th February 1700 Arabella Vernon and had issue.
In 1683 James Rushout 1st Baronet [aged 38] bought Northwick Park Blockley, Gloucestershire.
On 6th February 1685 [his son] John Rushout 4th Baronet was born to James Rushout 1st Baronet [aged 40] and [his wife] Alice Pitt Lady Rushout. He married 1729 Anne Compton Lady Rushout, daughter of George Compton 4th Earl of Northampton and Jane Fox Countess Northampton, and had issue.
In 1689 James Rushout 1st Baronet [aged 44] was elected MP Worcestershire.
In 1690 James Rushout 1st Baronet [aged 45] was elected MP Evesham.
After 20th January 1690 [his son-in-law] Samuel Pytts [aged 16] and [his daughter] Catherine Rushout were married.
Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough
A canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: 'In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed.'

On 16th February 1698 James Rushout 1st Baronet [aged 53] died. His son James [aged 22] succeeded 2nd Baronet Rushout of Northwick Park in Worcestershire.
[his daughter] Elizabeth Rushout Countess Northampton was born to James Rushout 1st Baronet and Alice Pitt Lady Rushout. She married 1. 1713 George Thorold 1st Baronet 2. 3rd July 1726 George Compton 4th Earl of Northampton, son of James Compton 3rd Earl of Northampton and Mary Noel Countess Northampton.
[his daughter] Catherine Rushout was born to James Rushout 1st Baronet and Alice Pitt Lady Rushout. She married after 20th January 1690 Samuel Pytts.
[his daughter] Alice Rushout was born to James Rushout 1st Baronet and Alice Pitt Lady Rushout. She married 14th October 1694 Edwin Sandes and had issue.
