On 17th February 1519 Francis II Duke Guise was born to Claude Lorraine 1st Duke Guise [aged 22] and Antoinette Bourbon Duchess of Guise [aged 26] at Bar le Duc. He married 29th April 1548 his third cousin once removed Anna d'Este, daughter of Ercole Este II Duke Ferrara and Renée of France Duchess of Ferrara, and had issue.
In 1554 Marguerite Egmont [aged 37] died in Bar le Duc.

On 12th April 1566 Claude of Lorraine was born to Nicholas of Lorraine Duke of Mercœur [aged 41] and Princess Joanna of Savoy Nemours [aged 34] in Nomeny. He died young.
