In or before 1710 Paul Davys 1st Viscount Mount Cashell [aged 39] and Catherine MacCarty Viscountess Mount Cashel were married. She by marriage Viscountess Mount Cashell of the City of Cashell. The previous creation of Viscount Mount Cashel had been for his wife Catherine's uncle Justin McCarthy 1st Viscount Mountcashel. She the daughter of Callaghan MacCarty 3rd Earl Clancarty and Elizabeth Fitzgerald Countess Clancarty.

On 6th August 1716 Paul Davys 1st Viscount Mount Cashell [aged 46] died. He was buried at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin [Map]. His son James [aged 6] succeeded 2nd Viscount Mount Cashell of the City of Cashell.

In 1719 James Davys 2nd Viscount Mount Cashel [aged 9] died. His brother Edward [aged 8] succeeded 3rd Viscount Mount Cashell of the City of Cashell.

In 1736 Edward Davys 3rd Viscount Mount Cashel [aged 25] died. Viscount Mount Cashell of the City of Cashell extinct.
