On 26th March 1759 Ellis Cunliffe 1st Baronet [aged 41] was created 1st Baronet Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster with remainder, in default of his own male issue to his brother, Robert Cunliffe [aged 39]

On 19th December 1760 Ellis Cunliffe 1st Baronet [aged 43] and Mary Bennet Lady Cunliffe were married. She by marriage Lady Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster. They had two daughters.

On 16th October 1767 Ellis Cunliffe 1st Baronet [aged 50] died. His brother Robert [aged 48] succeeded 2nd Baronet Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster. Mary Wright Lady Cunliffe by marriage Lady Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.

In 1778 Robert Cunliffe 2nd Baronet [aged 58] died. His son Foster [aged 23] succeeded 3rd Baronet Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.

In 1834 Foster Cunliffe 3rd Baronet [aged 79] died. His son Robert [aged 48] succeeded 4th Baronet Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster. Susan Emily Paton Lady Cunliffe [aged 26] by marriage Lady Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.

On 10th September 1859 Robert Henry Cunliffe 4th Baronet [aged 74] died. His grandson Robert [aged 20] succeeded 5th Baronet Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.

In 1869 Robert Alfred Cunliffe 5th Baronet [aged 29] and Eleanor Sophia Leigh Lady Cunliffe [aged 21] were married. She by marriage Lady Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.

On 5th January 1901 Robert Alfred Cunliffe 5th Baronet [aged 61] and Cecile Victoria Sackville-West Lady Cunliffe were married. She by marriage Lady Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.

On 18th January 1905 Robert Alfred Cunliffe 5th Baronet [aged 66] died. His son Foster [aged 29] succeeded 6th Baronet Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.

Abbot John Whethamstede’s Chronicle of the Abbey of St Albans

Abbot John Whethamstede's Register aka Chronicle of his second term at the Abbey of St Albans, 1451-1461, is a remarkable text that describes his first-hand experience of the beginning of the Wars of the Roses including the First and Second Battles of St Albans, 1455 and 1461, respectively, their cause, and their consequences, not least on the Abbey itself. His text also includes Loveday, Blore Heath, Northampton, the Act of Accord, Wakefield, and Towton, and ends with the Coronation of King Edward IV. In addition to the events of the Wars of the Roses, Abbot John, or his scribes who wrote the Chronicle, include details in the life of the Abbey such as charters, letters, land exchanges, visits by legates, and disputes, which provide a rich insight into the day-to-day life of the Abbey, and the challenges faced by its Abbot.

On 10th July 1916 Foster Hugh Egerton Cunliffe 6th Baronet [aged 40] died from wounds at Ovillers-la-Boisselle, France. He was buried at Bapaume Post Military Cemetery, Albert, Somme. His brother Robert [aged 32] succeeded 7th Baronet Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.

In 1949 Robert Neville Henry Cunliffe 7th Baronet [aged 65] died. His second cousin Cyril [aged 47] succeeded 8th Baronet Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.

On 12th February 1969 Cyril Henley Cunliffe 8th Baronet [aged 67] died. His son David [aged 11] succeeded 9th Baronet Cunliffe of Liverpool in Lancaster.
