On 8th March 1887 James Arthur Wellington Foley Butler 4th Marquess Ormonde [aged 37] and Ellen Stager Marchioness Ormonde were married. She brought a fortune of £200,000 to the marriage. He the son of John Butler 2nd Marquess Ormonde and Frances Paget Marchioness Ormonde [aged 70].
On 20th December 1887 [her daughter] Evelyn Frances Butler was born to [her husband] James Arthur Wellington Foley Butler 4th Marquess Ormonde [aged 38] and Ellen Stager Marchioness Ormonde. She married 1920 Edmund Rupert Drummond.
In 1890 [her son] James George Anson Butler 5th Marquess Ormonde was born to [her husband] James Arthur Wellington Foley Butler 4th Marquess Ormonde [aged 40] and Ellen Stager Marchioness Ormonde. He married 23rd February 1915 his third cousin once removed Sybil Fellowes Marchioness of Ormonde, daughter of William Henry Fellowes 2nd Baron de Ramsey of Ramsey Abbey and Rosamond Jane Frances Spencer-Churchill, and had issue.

On 23rd February 1915 James George Anson Butler 5th Marquess Ormonde [aged 25] and Sybil Fellowes Marchioness of Ormonde [aged 26] were married. He the son of James Arthur Wellington Foley Butler 4th Marquess Ormonde [aged 65] and Ellen Stager Marchioness Ormonde. They were third cousin once removed.
On 17th August 1915 [her son-in-law] Captain Edward Brassey Egerton [aged 26] and Eleanor Rachel Butler [aged 21] were married. She the daughter of James Arthur Wellington Foley Butler 4th Marquess Ormonde [aged 65] and Ellen Stager Marchioness Ormonde.
On 26th October 1919 [her brother-in-law] James Butler 3rd Marquess Ormonde [aged 75] died. His succeeded brother [her husband] James Arthur Wellington Foley Butler 4th Marquess Ormonde [aged 70] succeeded 4th Marquess Ormonde, 22nd Earl Ormonde, 16th Earl Ossory, 4th Baron Ormonde of Llanthony in Monmouthshire. Ellen Stager Marchioness Ormonde by marriage Marchioness Ormonde.

Around 1925 [her sister] Annie Stager died at Monte Carlo. She left a total estate of $847,207, half of which was left to Ellen Stager Marchioness Ormonde.
In 1943 [her husband] James Arthur Wellington Foley Butler 4th Marquess Ormonde [aged 93] died. His succeeded son James George Anson Butler 5th Marquess Ormonde [aged 53] succeeded 5th Marquess Ormonde, 23rd Earl Ormonde, 17th Earl Ossory, 5th Baron Ormonde of Llanthony in Monmouthshire. Sybil Fellowes Marchioness of Ormonde [aged 54] by marriage Marchioness Ormonde.
In 1949 [her son] James George Anson Butler 5th Marquess Ormonde [aged 59] died. His succeeded brother James Arthur Norman Butler 6th Marquess Ormonde [aged 56] succeeded 6th Marquess Ormonde, 23rd Earl Ormonde, 17th Earl Ossory, 6th Baron Ormonde of Llanthony in Monmouthshire.
On 17th June 1951 Ellen Stager Marchioness Ormonde died.
