On 02 Sep 1805 [his son] Charles Evelyn Pierrepont was born to Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers (age 27) and [his wife] Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers (age 20).
On 17 Jun 1816 [his father] Charles Medows aka Pierrepont 1st Earl Manvers (age 78) died. He was buried at Church of St Edmund Holme Pierrepoint [Map]. His son Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers (age 37) succeeded 2nd Earl Manvers, 2nd Viscount Newark, 2nd Baron Pierrepont of Holme Pierrepoint. [his wife] Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers (age 31) by marriage Countess Manvers.
On or before 30 Aug 1823 [his mother] Anne Mills Countess Manvers (age 76) died. She was buried at the Church of St Edmund Holme Pierrepoint [Map].
In 1825 [his son] Sydney William Herbert Pierrepont 3rd Earl Manvers was born to Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers (age 46) and [his wife] Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers (age 40).
On 16 Aug 1832 [his son] Charles Evelyn Pierrepont (age 26) and [his daughter-in-law] Emily Littleton were married. He the son of Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers (age 54) and Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers (age 47).
On 21 Aug 1845 [his son-in-law] Edward Christopher Egerton (age 29) and [his daughter] Mary Frances Pierrepont were married. She the daughter of Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers (age 67) and Mary Laetitia Eyre Countess Manvers (age 60). They were half second cousins.
On 21 Sep 1848 George Frederick Cavendish-Scott-Bentinck (age 46) died unmarried. He had left his father's home Welbeck Abbey [Map] intending to walk the six miles to Thoresby Hall to dine with Charles Herbert Pierrepont 2nd Earl Manvers (age 70). When he didn't arrive at Thoresby Hall a search party was sent to look for him. They discovered his body at nine in the evening. He was buried in the family vault at St Marylebone Church.
On 23 Aug 1850 [his son] Charles Evelyn Pierrepont (age 44) died at Torquay, Devon. He was buried at the Church of St Edmund Holme Pierrepoint [Map]. His brother [his son] Sydney William Herbert Pierrepont 3rd Earl Manvers (age 25) succeeded 3rd Earl Manvers, 3rd Viscount Newark, 3rd Baron Pierrepont of Holme Pierrepoint.
In or after 1852 the contents of the Crypt of the Church of St Edmund Holme Pierrepoint [Map] were listed with a diagram by the Reverend James Cleaver, Rector of Holme Pierrepont, as follows:
