In 1803 George Brooke-Pechell 4th Baronet (age 13) joined the Navy, serving chiefly in American waters; Captain 1822, becoming finally Rear-Admiral, 17 Dec 1852, and Vice-Admiral, both on the retired list, 05 Jan 1858.

On 03 Sep 1855 [his son] William Henry Cecil George Brooke-Pechell (age 25), Captain in the 77th Foot, was killed in the trenches before Sebastopol.
On 26 Aug 1856 [his son-in-law] Percy Burrell 4th Baronet (age 44) and [his daughter] Henrietta Katherine Brooke-Pechell were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square. There was no issue from the marriage.
