Biography of Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet 1753-1826
On 11 Feb 1752 [his father] Paul Pechell 1st Baronet (age 27) and [his mother] Mary Brooke Lady Pechell were married.
On 23 Jan 1753 Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet was born to Paul Pechell 1st Baronet (age 28) and Mary Brooke Lady Pechell.
In or after 1754 [his brother] Augustus Pechell of Berkhampstead in Hertfordshire was born to [his father] Paul Pechell 1st Baronet (age 29) and [his mother] Mary Brooke Lady Pechell. Some sources state his birth as 1752 which is inconsistent with his brother Thomas succeeding as second Baronet.
On 30 May 1771 Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 18) matriculated Christ Church College, Oxford University. He was awarded BA in 1775, MA in 1779.
On 12 Dec 1780 Admiral John Borlase Warren 1st Baronet (age 27) and [his future sister-in-law] Caroline Clavering Lady Warren were married. She by marriage Lady Warren of Little Marlow in Buckinghamshire.
On 28 Apr 1783 Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 30) and Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell (age 24) were married.
On 01 Sep 1785 [his son] Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet was born to Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 32) and [his wife] Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell (age 26).
On 30 Jun 1789 [his son] George Brooke-Pechell 4th Baronet was born to Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 36) and [his wife] Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell (age 30).
In or before 1790 [his brother-in-law] Brigadier-General Henry Mordaunt Clavering (age 31) and Augusta Campbell (age 29) were married. She the daughter of John Campbell 5th Duke Argyll (age 66) and Elizabeth Gunning Duchess Hamilton and Argyll (age 56).
In 1795 Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 41) was appointed Gentleman Usher to Charlotte Mecklenburg Strelitz Queen Consort England (age 50).
On 01 Mar 1797 [his father] Paul Pechell 1st Baronet (age 72) was created 1st Baronet Pechell of Paglesham in Essex. [his mother] Mary Brooke Lady Pechell by marriage Lady Pechell of Paglesham in Essex.
On 13 Jan 1800 [his father] Paul Pechell 1st Baronet (age 75) died. His son Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 46) succeeded 2nd Baronet Pechell of Paglesham in Essex. [his wife] Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell (age 41) by marriage Lady Pechell of Paglesham in Essex.
In Oct 1800 [his mother] Mary Brooke Lady Pechell died.
On 22 Nov 1800 Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 47) changed his surname by Royal Licence from Pechell to Brooke-Pechell in accordance with his mother's will.
In Apr 1813 Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 60) was elected MP Downton which seat he held until 1818.
In Feb 1819 Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 66) was elected MP Downton which seat he held until 1826.
On 18 Jun 1826 Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 73) died. His son [his son] Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet (age 40) succeeded 3rd Baronet Brooke-Pechell of Paglesham in Essex.
On 23 Oct 1841 [his former wife] Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell (age 82) died at Hampton Court Palace, Richmond [Map].
