After 1412 [his future brother-in-law] Thomas Cobham 5th Baron Cobham and Elizabeth Chidiock Baroness Cobham Sternborough (age 8) were married. She by marriage Baroness Cobham.

Around 1433 Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley was born to Griffin Kynaston (age 31) at Hordley, Ellesmere.

Before 18 Mar 1434 Richard Strange 3rd Baron Dunster 7th Baron Strange Knockin (age 52) and [his future wife] Elizabeth Cobham Baroness Strange and Mohun (age 15) were married. She by marriage Baroness Strange Knockin, Baroness Mohun of Dunster. The difference in their ages was 37 years.

In 1453 [his son] Thomas Kynaston was born to Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 20) and [his wife] Elizabeth Cobham Baroness Strange and Mohun (age 34).

In 1454 Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 21) was appointed Constable of Denbigh Castle.

On 17 Mar 1454 [his wife] Elizabeth Cobham Baroness Strange and Mohun (age 35) died.

Battle of Blore Heath

On 23 Sep 1459 John Dudley 1st Baron Dudley (age 58) attempted to ambush John Neville 1st Marquess Montagu (age 28) whilst he was travelling to Ludlow [Map] to join up with the main Yorkist army; the Battle of Blore Heath. Forewarned by scouts he arranged his troops into battle order. The Yorkist army included John Conyers (age 48), Thomas Harrington (age 59), James Harrington (age 29), Richard Neville Earl Salisbury (age 59), William Stanley (age 24), Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 26), John Savile, Walter Strickland (age 48) and John Wenlock 1st Baron Wenlock (age 59).

The Lancastrian army included brothers John Dutton, Thomas Dutton (age 38) and Peter Dutton who were killed.

James Tuchet 5th Baron Audley, 2nd Baron Tuchet (age 61) was killed by Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 26). His son John Tuchet 6th Baron Audley, 3rd Baron Tuchet (age 33) succeeded 6th Baron Audley of Heighley in Staffordshire, 3rd Baron Tuchet. Anne Echingham Baroness Audley Heighley (age 39) by marriage Baroness Audley of Heighley in Staffordshire, Baroness Audley of Heighley in Staffordshire.

John Dudley 1st Baron Dudley (age 58) and Edmund Dudley (age 34) were captured. Lionel Welles 6th Baron Welles (age 53) fought.

Richard Molyneux of Sefton was killed.

After the battle Margaret of Anjou Queen Consort England (age 29) took refuge at Eccleshall Castle, Staffordshire [Map].

After the battle Thomas Harrington (age 59), John Neville 1st Marquess Montagu (age 28) and Thomas Neville (age 29) were captured at Acton Bridge Tarporley [Map] and imprisoned at Chester Castle [Map] having been detached from the main Yorkist force.

William Troutbeck (age 23) was killed.

In 1461 Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 28) was appointed High Sheriff of Shropshire.

In 1465 Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 32) and Elizabeth Grey (age 25) were married. She the daughter of Henry Grey 2nd Earl Tankerville and Antigone Lancaster Countess Tankerville. She a great granddaughter of Henry IV King England.

In 1466 [his daughter] Jana Kynaston was born to Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 33) and [his wife] Elizabeth Grey (age 26). She a great x 2 granddaughter of Henry IV King England.

In or before 1467 [his former brother-in-law] Thomas Cobham 5th Baron Cobham (age 55) and Anne Stafford Baroness Cobham Sternborough (age 20) were married at Lingfield, Kent. She by marriage Baroness Cobham. The difference in their ages was 34 years. She the daughter of Humphrey Stafford 1st Duke of Buckingham and Anne Neville Duchess Buckingham (age 58). Battle of Tewkesbury

On 04 May 1471 King Edward IV of England (age 29) was victorious at the Battle of Tewkesbury. William Brandon (age 46), George Browne (age 31), Ralph Hastings, Richard Hastings Baron Willoughby (age 38), James Tyrrell (age 16), Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 38) were knighted. William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings (age 40) commanded.

Margaret of Anjou (age 41) was captured. Her son Edward of Westinster Prince of Wales (age 17) was killed. He was the last of the Lancastrian line excluding the illegitmate Charles Somerset 1st Earl of Worcester (age 11) whose line continues to the present.

John Courtenay 15th Earl Devon (age 36) was killed and attainted. Earl Devon, Baron Courtenay forfeit. Some sources refer to these titles as being abeyant?

John Wenlock 1st Baron Wenlock (age 71) was killed. Baron Wenlock extinct.

John Delves (age 49), Humphrey Tuchet (age 37), John Beaufort (age 30), William Vaux of Harrowden (age 35) and Robert Whittingham (age 42) were killed.

Edmund Beaufort 3rd Duke Somerset (age 32) and Hugh Courtenay (age 44) were captured.

Henry Roos fought and escaped to Tewkesbury Abbey [Map] where he sought sanctuary. He was subsequently pardoned.

Battle of Bosworth

On 22 Aug 1485 King Richard III of England (age 32) was killed during the Battle of Bosworth. His second cousin once removed Henry Tudor  (age 28) succeeded VII King England. Earl Richmond forfeit.

George Stanley 9th Baron Strange Knockin 5th Baron Mohun Dunster (age 25) held as a hostage by Richard III before the Battle of Bosworth.

Henry Percy 4th Earl of Northumberland (age 36) betrayed King Richard III of England (age 32) by not committing his forces at the Battle of Bosworth.

John Iwardby (age 35) was killed.

On 28 Oct 1495 Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 62) died at Myddle, Shropshire.
