On 19 Sep 1534 [his grandfather] Thomas Berkeley 6th Baron Berkeley (age 29) died at Stone, Aylesbury. He was buried at St John the Baptist Church, Stone. On 26 Nov 1534 His son [his father] Henry Berkeley 7th Baron Berkeley succeeded posthumously 7th Baron Berkeley.
