On 21 Nov 1748 Bishop John Egerton (age 26) and [his former sister-in-law] Anne Sophia Grey were married. She the daughter of Henry Grey 1st Duke Kent and Sophia Bentinck Duchess Kent. He the son of Bishop Henry Egerton and Elizabeth Adriana Bentinck (age 45). They were first cousins.
