The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Between 1451 and 15th June 1452 Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd (age 31) was created 1st Lord Boyd by King James II of Scotland (age 20). On 15th June 1452 King James II of Scotland confirmed the charter of Robert Boyd, Lord of Kilmarnock and of Dalry, conveying one-third of the lands of Lynn in Dalry to Robert Boyd [indweller] of Lynn. He took his seat in Parliament on 18th July 1454.
In 1452 [his son] Alexander Boyd 3rd Lord Boyd was born to Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd (age 32) and [his wife] Mariota aka Janet Maxwell.
In 1460 Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd (age 40) was one of the Regents of King James III of Scotland (age 8) during his minority.
In 1464 Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd (age 44) was one of the commissioners at York for a truce with King Edward IV of England (age 21).
After 20th January 1465 [his son] Thomas Boyd 1st Earl Arran and [his daughter-in-law] Elizabeth Montgomerie (age 26) were married. They were half first cousins.

In 1466 Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd (age 46) was made by Act of Parliament sole Governor of the Realm, Lord Chamberlain of Scotland for life.
In 1467 Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd (age 47) was appointed Lord Justice General.
Before 26th April 1467 [his son] Thomas Boyd 1st Earl Arran and [his daughter-in-law] Mary Stewart Countess Arran (age 13) were married. The marriage arranged by his father, Regent Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd (age 47). The King, her elder brother King James III of Scotland (age 15) consider the marriage a great insult. He, Thomas, was subsequently charged with treason and when failing to appear in response to a summons, their marriage was declared null and void, and she was married to James Hamilton 1st Lord Hamilton (age 52). She the daughter of King James II of Scotland and Mary of Guelders Queen Consort Scotland.
Around 26th April 1467 [his son] Thomas Boyd 1st Earl Arran was created 1st Earl Arran by his father, Regent Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd (age 47).
On 4th March 1468 [his son-in-law] Archibald "Bell the Cat" Douglas 5th Earl Angus (age 19) and [his daughter] Elizabeth Boyd Countess Angus were married. She by marriage Countess Angus. He the son of George Douglas 4th Earl Angus and Isabella Sibbald Countess Angus.
After 25th June 1472 [his former wife] Mariota aka Janet Maxwell died.
Around 1473 [his son] Thomas Boyd 1st Earl Arran died.
Around 1482 Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd (age 62) died.
[his daughter] Elizabeth Boyd Countess Angus was born to Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd. She married 4th March 1468 Archibald "Bell the Cat" Douglas 5th Earl Angus, son of George Douglas 4th Earl Angus and Isabella Sibbald Countess Angus, and had issue.
[his son] Thomas Boyd 1st Earl Arran was born to Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd and Mariota aka Janet Maxwell. He married (1) his half first cousin after 20th January 1465 Elizabeth Montgomerie (2) before 26th April 1467 Mary Stewart Countess Arran, daughter of King James II of Scotland and Mary of Guelders Queen Consort Scotland, and had issue.
