Paternal Family Tree: Cavendish
On 30th July 1892 [his father] Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire (age 24) and [his mother] Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire (age 21) were married. She by marriage Duchess Devonshire. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice 5th Marquess Lansdowne (age 47). They were fifth cousins.
On 5th August 1905 Charles Arthur Francis Cavendish was born to [his father] Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire (age 37) and [his mother] Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire (age 34).
On 24th March 1908 Spencer Cavendish 8th Duke Devonshire (age 74) died of pneumonia at Hotel Metropol. His nephew [his father] Victor (age 39) succeeded 9th Duke Devonshire, 12th Earl Devonshire, 4th Earl Burlington, 12th Baron Cavendish Hardwick. On 28th March 1908 he was buried in the Cavendish Plot, St Peter's Church, Edensor [Map].

In 1916 [his father] Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire (age 47) was appointed 855th Knight of the Garter by King George V of the United Kingdom (age 50).
In 1917 [his brother] Edward William Spencer Cavendish 10th Duke Devonshire (age 21) and [his sister-in-law] Mary Alice Gascoyne-Cecil Duchess Devonshire (age 21) were married. She the daughter of James Gascoyne-Cecil 4th Marquess Salisbury (age 55) and Cicely Anne Gore Marchioness Salisbury (age 49). He the son of [his father] Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire (age 48) and [his mother] Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire (age 46).
Around 1920 Charles Arthur Francis Cavendish (age 14) educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University [Map].
On 28th November 1928 [his brother-in-law] Henry Philip Hunloke (age 21) and [his sister] Anne Cavendish Countess Sandwich (age 19) were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square. She the daughter of [his father] Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire (age 60) and [his mother] Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire (age 58).
In 1932 Charles Arthur Francis Cavendish (age 26) and Adele Astaire (age 35) were married at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire [Map]. He the son of Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire (age 63) and Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire (age 61).

Adele Astaire: On 10th September 1896 she was born. In 1932 Charles Arthur Francis Cavendish and she were married at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire [Map]. He the son of Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire and Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire. On 25th January 1981 she died.

On 6th May 1938 [his father] Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire (age 69) died at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire [Map]. He was buried at Cavendish Plot, St Peter's Church, Edensor [Map]. His son [his brother] Edward (age 43) succeeded 10th Duke Devonshire, 13th Earl Devonshire, 5th Earl Burlington, 13th Baron Cavendish Hardwick. [his sister-in-law] Mary Alice Gascoyne-Cecil Duchess Devonshire (age 42) by marriage Duchess Devonshire. On 2nd April 1960 [his mother] Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire (age 67) died. Both the Duke and Duchess were buried in the Cavendish Plot, St Peter's Church, Edensor [Map].
Evelyn Emily Mary Petty-Fitzmaurice Duchess Devonshire: On 27th August 1870 she was born to Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice 5th Marquess Lansdowne. On 30th July 1892 Victor Christian William Cavendish 9th Duke Devonshire and she were married. She by marriage Duchess Devonshire. She the daughter of Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice 5th Marquess Lansdowne. They were fifth cousins.
In 1942 [his brother] Edward William Spencer Cavendish 10th Duke Devonshire (age 46) was appointed 892nd Knight of the Garter by King George VI of the United Kingdom (age 46).
On 23rd March 1944 Charles Arthur Francis Cavendish (age 38) died at Lismore Castle, Lismore, County Waterford. He was buried at Lismore Cathedral, Lismore, County Waterford.
On 25th January 1981 [his former wife] Adele Astaire (age 84) died.
