Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Biography of Edmund Antrobus 2nd Baronet 1791-1870

On 17th May 1792 Edmund Antrobus 2nd Baronet was born to John Antrobus [aged 31].

In 1794 [his father] John Antrobus [aged 33] died. Some months before he was badly crushed when his horse rolled on him. He lingered in a coma for some months and during this period his wife also died after giving birth to their second son. His two infant children, Edmund Antrobus 2nd Baronet [aged 1] and [his brother] Gibbs Antrobus [aged 1], were brought up by their bachelor uncles and treated to all intents and purposes as their own sons.

On 16th October 1817 Edmund Antrobus 2nd Baronet [aged 25] and Ann Lindsay Lady Antrobus [aged 22] were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square.

On 3rd September 1818 [his son] Edmund Antrobus 3rd Baronet was born to Edmund Antrobus 2nd Baronet [aged 26]. He married 11th February 1847 Marianne Georgiana Dashwood Lady Antrobus, daughter of George Dashwood 4th Baronet and Marianne Sarah Rowley, and had issue.

On 6th February 1826 [his uncle] Edmund Antrobus 1st Baronet died unmarried. His nephew Edmund [aged 33] succeeded 2nd Baronet Antrobus of Antrobus in Cheshire and inherited half of his fortune estimated at £700,000, and the estate of Amesbury Abbey, Wiltshire [Map]. [his wife] Ann Lindsay Lady Antrobus [aged 31] by marriage Lady Antrobus of Antrobus in Cheshire.

On 11th February 1847 [his son] Edmund Antrobus 3rd Baronet [aged 28] and [his daughter-in-law] Marianne Georgiana Dashwood Lady Antrobus were married. They had six children.

On 8th November 1859 [his son-in-law] Cosmo Lewis Duff Gordon [aged 47] and [his daughter] Anna-Maria Antrobus were married.

On 4th May 1870 Edmund Antrobus 2nd Baronet [aged 77] died. His son Edmund [aged 51] succeeded 3rd Baronet Antrobus of Antrobus in Cheshire. Marianne Georgiana Dashwood Lady Antrobus by marriage Lady Antrobus of Antrobus in Cheshire.

[his son] Robert Crawfurd Antrobus was born to Edmund Antrobus 2nd Baronet.

[his daughter] Anna-Maria Antrobus was born to Edmund Antrobus 2nd Baronet. She married 8th November 1859 Cosmo Lewis Duff Gordon, son of William Duff-Gordon 2nd Baronet and Caroline Cornewall Lady Duff-Gordon, and had issue.
