On 25th June 1756 [his father] John Ashburnham 2nd Earl Ashburnham [aged 31] and [his mother] Elizabeth Crowley Countess Ashburham were married. She by marriage Countess Ashburham. He the son of [his grandfather] John Ashburnham 1st Earl Ashburnham and [his grandmother] Jemima Grey Countess Ashburham.

On 25th December 1760 George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham was born to [his father] John Ashburnham 2nd Earl Ashburnham [aged 36] and [his mother] Elizabeth Crowley Countess Ashburham.

On 28th August 1784 George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 23] and Sophia Thynne [aged 20] were married. She the daughter of Thomas Thynne 1st Marquess of Bath [aged 49] and Elizabeth Bentinck Marchioness Bath [aged 49]. He the son of John Ashburnham 2nd Earl Ashburnham [aged 59] and Elizabeth Crowley Countess Ashburham. They were fourth cousin twice removed.

On 8th October 1785 [his son] George Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 24] and [his wife] Sophia Thynne [aged 21].

On 16th September 1786 [his daughter] Elizabeth Sophia Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 25] and [his wife] Sophia Thynne [aged 22].

On 29th June 1788 [his daughter] Sophia Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 27] and [his wife] Sophia Thynne [aged 24].

On 3rd June 1789 [his son] John Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 28] and [his wife] Sophia Thynne [aged 25].

On 9th April 1791 [his wife] Sophia Thynne [aged 27] died.

On 25th July 1795 George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 34] and Charlotte Percy Countess Ashburham [aged 19] were married. She the daughter of Algernon Percy 1st Earl Beverley [aged 45] and Isabella Susan Burrell Countess Beverley [aged 44]. He the son of John Ashburnham 2nd Earl Ashburnham [aged 70] and Elizabeth Crowley Countess Ashburham.

On 19th January 1797 [his son] William Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 36] and [his wife] Charlotte Percy Countess Ashburham [aged 21]. He died aged less than one years old.

After 19th January 1797 [his son] William Ashburnham [deceased] died.

On 23rd November 1797 [his son] Bertram Ashburnham 4th Earl Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 36] and [his wife] Charlotte Percy Countess Ashburham [aged 21]. He married 1840 Katherine Charlotte Baillie Countess Ashburnham and had issue.

On 23rd March 1803 [his son] Charles Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 42] and [his wife] Charlotte Percy Countess Ashburham [aged 27].

On 11th May 1805 [his daughter] Georgiana Jemima Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 44] and [his wife] Charlotte Percy Countess Ashburham [aged 29]. She married before 24th February 1837 Henry Reveley Mitford and had issue.

On 17th June 1807 [his daughter] Sophia Ashburnham [aged 18] died.

On 19th July 1809 [his daughter] Jane Henrietta Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 48] and [his wife] Charlotte Percy Countess Ashburham [aged 33]. She married before 5th April 1837 Admiral Charles Henry Swinburne and had issue.

In 1810 [his son] John Ashburnham [aged 20] was drowned whilst returning from Portugal.

On 31st March 1812 [his daughter] Katherine Frances Ashburnham was born to George Ashburnham 3rd Earl Ashburnham [aged 51] and [his wife] Charlotte Percy Countess Ashburham [aged 36].

On 8th April 1812 [his father] John Ashburnham 2nd Earl Ashburnham [aged 87] died. His son George [aged 51] succeeded 3rd Earl Ashburham, 5th Baron Ashburnham of Ashburnham in Sussex. [his wife] Charlotte Percy Countess Ashburham [aged 36] by marriage Countess Ashburham.

On 7th June 1813 [his son] George Ashburnham [aged 27] died at Dover Street.
