Rebecca Clayton Countess Yarmouth: Around 1635 she was born to Jasper Clayton. On 15th June 1650 Robert Paston 1st Earl of Yarmouth and she were married. In 1679 Robert Paston 1st Earl of Yarmouth was created 1st Earl of Yarmouth. She by marriage Countess of Yarmouth. On 14th February 1694 she died.

In 1631 [his father] William Paston 1st Baronet [aged 21] and [his mother] Lady Katherine Bertie were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Robert Bertie 1st Earl Lindsey [aged 48] and [his grandmother] Elizabeth Montagu Countess Lindsey.

On 29th May 1631 Robert Paston 1st Earl of Yarmouth was born to [his father] William Paston 1st Baronet [aged 21] and [his mother] Lady Katherine Bertie.

On 15th June 1650 Robert Paston 1st Earl of Yarmouth [aged 19] and Rebecca Clayton Countess Yarmouth [aged 15] were married.

In 1654 [his son] William Paston 2nd Earl of Yarmouth was born to Robert Paston 1st Earl of Yarmouth [aged 22] and [his wife] Rebecca Clayton Countess Yarmouth [aged 19]. He married before 1673 Charlotte Jemima Henrietta Maria Fitzroy Countess Yarmouth, daughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland and Elizabeth Killigrew Viscountess Shannon, and had issue.

John Evelyn's Diary. 22nd April 1656. Came to see Mr. Henshaw [aged 38] and [his father] Sir William Paston's [aged 46] son [aged 24], since Earl of Yarmouth. Afterward, I went to see his Majesty's [aged 25] house at Eltham [Map], both palace and chapel in miserable ruins, the noble woods and park destroyed by Rich [aged 68], the rebel.

John Evelyn's Diary. 30th December 1656. Dined with me [his father] Sir William Paston's [aged 46] son [aged 25], Mr. Henshaw [aged 38], and Mr. Clayton.

In 1663 [his father] William Paston 1st Baronet [aged 53] died. His son Robert [aged 31] succeeded 2nd Baronet Paston of Paston and Oxnead.

John Evelyn's Diary. 23rd June 1665. I dined with Sir Robert Paston [aged 34], since Earl of Yarmouth, and saw the Duke of Verneuille [aged 63], base brother to the Queen-Mother [aged 55], a handsome old man, a great hunter.

Before 1673 William Paston 2nd Earl of Yarmouth [aged 18] and Charlotte Jemima Henrietta Maria Fitzroy Countess Yarmouth [aged 22] were married. She by marriage Countess of Yarmouth. She the illegitmate daughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland [aged 42] and Elizabeth Killigrew Viscountess Shannon [aged 50]. He the son of Robert Paston 1st Earl of Yarmouth [aged 41] and Rebecca Clayton Countess Yarmouth [aged 37].

In 1679 Robert Paston 1st Earl of Yarmouth [aged 47] was created 1st Earl of Yarmouth. [his wife] Rebecca Clayton Countess Yarmouth [aged 44] by marriage Countess of Yarmouth.

On 8th March 1683 Robert Paston 1st Earl of Yarmouth [aged 51] died. His son William [aged 29] succeeded 2nd Earl of Yarmouth, 3rd Baronet Paston of Paston and Oxnead.

On 14th February 1694 [his former wife] Rebecca Clayton Countess Yarmouth [aged 59] died.
