Biography of Margaret Bourbon Queen Consort Navarre 1217-1256

In 1205 [her father] Archambaud "Great" Dampierre (age 16) and [her mother] Alix Forez were married.

Around 1217 Margaret Bourbon was born to [her father] Archambaud "Great" Dampierre (age 28) and [her mother] Alix Forez.

In 1222 [her future husband] Theobald IV King Navarre (age 20) and Agnes of Beaujeu Countess Savoy were married. She by marriage Countess Champagne.

After 11th July 1231 Theobald IV King Navarre (age 30) and Margaret Bourbon (age 14) were married. She by marriage Countess Champagne.

Around 1233 [her daughter] Eleanor Blois died.

On 06 or 7th December 1239 [her son] Theobald "Young" II King Navarre was born to [her husband] Theobald IV King Navarre (age 38) and Margaret Bourbon (age 22). He married 6th April 1255 his half third cousin Isabella Capet, daughter of King Louis IX of France and Margaret Provence Queen Consort France.

Around 1242 [her daughter] Beatrix Blois Duchess Burgundy was born to [her husband] Theobald IV King Navarre (age 40) and Margaret Bourbon (age 25). She married 1258 her third cousin Hugh IV Duke Burgundy, son of Odo III Duke Burgundy and Alice Vergy Duchess Burgundy.

On 6th April 1255 [her son] Theobald "Young" II King Navarre (age 15) and [her daughter-in-law] Isabella Capet (age 14) were married. She the daughter of King Louis IX of France (age 40) and Margaret Provence Queen Consort France (age 34). He the son of [her former husband] Theobald IV King Navarre and Margaret Bourbon Queen Consort Navarre (age 38). They were half third cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King William "Conqueror" I of England. She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England.

On 12th April 1256 Margaret Bourbon (age 39) died.
