He married 6th April 1255 his half third cousin Isabella Capet, daughter of King Louis IX of France and Margaret Provence Queen Consort France.
Around 1242 [her daughter] Beatrix Blois Duchess Burgundy was born to [her husband] Theobald IV King Navarre (age 40) and Margaret Bourbon (age 25). She married 1258 her third cousin Hugh IV Duke Burgundy, son of Odo III Duke Burgundy and Alice Vergy Duchess Burgundy.
