Around 1152 Owain Fychan ap Madog Mathrafal was born to [his father] Madog ap Maredudd Mathrafal Prince Powys and [his mother] Susanna Aberffraw (age 15).
In 1160 [his father] Madog ap Maredudd Mathrafal Prince Powys died at Whittington Castle, Shropshire [Map]. He was buried at St Tysilio Meifod Radnorshire, Powys.
In 1191 Owain Fychan ap Madog Mathrafal (age 39) died. His son Madog succeeded Prince Powys Fadog. Esyllt or Isolda Unknown Princess Powys Fadog by marriage Princess Powys Fadog.
