On 16th January 1900 Sydney William Herbert Pierrepont 3rd Earl Manvers [aged 75] died. His succeeded son Charles William Sydney Pierrepont 4th Earl Manvers [aged 45] succeeded 4th Earl Manvers, 4th Viscount Newark, 4th Baron Pierrepont of Holme Pierrepoint.
