His nephew Rowland [aged 42] succeeded 2nd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and Hardwicke in Shropshire, 2nd Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire. Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire extinct. Anne Clegg Viscoutess Hill [aged 27] by marriage Viscountess Hill of Hawkestone and Hardwicke in Shropshire.

On 16th January 1816 Rowland Hill 1st Baron Hill [aged 43] was created 1st Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire with a special remainder, failing heirs male of his body, to those of his elder brother, the late Colonel John Hill.

On 3rd January 1875 Rowland Hill 2nd Viscount Hill [aged 74] died. His son Rowland [aged 41] succeeded 3rd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and Hardwicke in Shropshire, 3rd Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire, 5th Baronet Hill of Hawkestone in Shropshire.

On 30th March 1895 Rowland Hill aka Clegg-Hill 3rd Viscount Hill [aged 61] died. His son Rowland [aged 32] succeeded 4th Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and Hardwicke in Shropshire, 4th Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire, 6th Baronet Hill of Hawkestone in Shropshire.

On 19th December 1923 Rowland Richard Clegg-Hill 4th Viscount Hill [aged 60] died without issue. His brother Francis [aged 57] succeeded 5th Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and Hardwicke in Shropshire, 5th Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire, 7th Baronet Hill of Hawkestone in Shropshire.

On 6th July 1924 Francis William Clegg-Hill 5th Viscount Hill [aged 57] died without issue. His half brother Charles [aged 48] succeeded 6th Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and Hardwicke in Shropshire, 6th Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire, 8th Baronet Hill of Hawkestone in Shropshire.

On 3rd May 1957 Charles Rowland Clegg-Hill 6th Viscount Hill [aged 80] died. His son Gerald [aged 53] succeeded 7th Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and Hardwicke in Shropshire, 7th Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire, 9th Baronet Hill of Hawkestone in Shropshire.

On 11th May 1974 Gerald Rowland Clegg-Hill 7th Viscount Hill [aged 70] died. His son Anthony [aged 43] succeeded 8th Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and Hardwicke in Shropshire, 8th Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire, 10th Baronet Hill of Hawkestone in Shropshire.

In February 2003 Anthony Rowland Clegg-Hill 8th Viscount Hill [aged 71] died without issue. His first cousin Peter [aged 57] succeeded 9th Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and Hardwicke in Shropshire, 9th Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hawkestone in Shropshire, 11th Baronet Hill of Hawkestone in Shropshire.
