In or before 1365 [her father] Robert Tiptoft 3rd Baron Tibetot [aged 23] and [her mother] Margaret Deincourt Baroness Tibetot [aged 20] were married. She by marriage Baroness Tibetot. They were third cousins. He a great x 5 grandson of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England.

Around 12th April 1368 Millicent Tiptoft was born to Robert Tiptoft 3rd Baron Tibetot [aged 27] and Margaret Deincourt Baroness Tibetot [aged 24].

In 1372 [her father] Robert Tiptoft 3rd Baron Tibetot [aged 31] died. Baron Tibetot extinct.

On 2nd April 1380 [her mother] Margaret Deincourt Baroness Tibetot [aged 36] died at Nettlestead, Suffolk.

In or before 1393 [her brother-in-law] Roger Scrope 2nd Baron Scrope of Bolton [aged 24] and [her sister] Margaret Tiptoft Baroness Scrope Bolton [aged 27] were married. She by marriage Baroness Scrope of Bolton.

In or before 1397 [her brother-in-law] Philip Despencer 2nd Baron Despencer [aged 31] and [her sister] Elizabeth Tiptoft Baroness Despencer [aged 26] were married. She by marriage Baroness Despencer. They were sixth cousins.

On 12th November 1399 John Cobham died. He was buried under the belfry at St Peter's Church, Hever with his second wife Joan Lewknor and their son Reynold. His will reveals that he provided for £30 to be spent on his funeral and twenty poor men to stand vigil over his tomb for forty days. His heirs appear to have sold Hever Castle, Kent [Map] to [her future husband] Stephen Scrope [aged 44].

Before 4th August 1401 [her sister] Elizabeth Tiptoft Baroness Despencer [aged 31] died.

Before 1408 Stephen Scrope [aged 52] and Millicent Tiptoft [aged 39] were married.

The History of William Marshal was commissioned by his son shortly after William’s death in 1219 to celebrate the Marshal’s remarkable life; it is an authentic, contemporary voice. The manuscript was discovered in 1861 by French historian Paul Meyer. Meyer published the manuscript in its original Anglo-French in 1891 in two books. This book is a line by line translation of the first of Meyer’s books; lines 1-10152. Book 1 of the History begins in 1139 and ends in 1194. It describes the events of the Anarchy, the role of William’s father John, John’s marriages, William’s childhood, his role as a hostage at the siege of Newbury, his injury and imprisonment in Poitou where he met Eleanor of Aquitaine and his life as a knight errant. It continues with the accusation against him of an improper relationship with Margaret, wife of Henry the Young King, his exile, and return, the death of Henry the Young King, the rebellion of Richard, the future King Richard I, war with France, the death of King Henry II, and the capture of King Richard, and the rebellion of John, the future King John. It ends with the release of King Richard and the death of John Marshal.

In 1408 [her husband] Stephen Scrope [aged 53] died in Ireland. Hever Castle, Kent [Map] became the property of his widow Millicent Tiptoft [aged 39] who subsequently married John Fastolf [aged 28].

On 13th January 1409 John Fastolf [aged 29] and Millicent Tiptoft [aged 40] were married.

In 1423 [her husband] John Fastolf [aged 43] and Millicent Tiptoft [aged 54] sold Hever Castle, Kent [Map] to Roger Fiennes [aged 38] to fund his campaigns in France.

On 12th February 1429 [her husband] John Fastolf [aged 49] was at Rouvray leading a supply train of some 300 carts of crossbows, cannons, etc and also barrels of herrings to Orléans. A force of 400 strong Scottish cavalry led by Charles Bourbon I Duke Bourbon [aged 28] and John Stewart of Darnley 1st Count Évreux [aged 49] attacked the supply train and were destroyed by English archers protected by supply wagons. John Stewart of Darnley 1st Count Évreux was killed. He was buried at Orléans Cathedral.

On 14th May 1431 [her sister] Margaret Tiptoft Baroness Scrope Bolton [aged 66] died.

On 25th August 1446 Millicent Tiptoft [aged 78] died. She was buried at St Benet's Abbey, Norfolk [Map].

On 5th November 1459 [her former husband] John Fastolf [aged 79] died at Caister, Norfolk [Map]. He was buried at St Benet's Abbey, Norfolk [Map]. William Yelverton [aged 59] was executor. Fastolf's will was disputed by Yelverton and the other executors once it was discovered that John Paston [aged 38] was to inherit the estates. The dispute between Yelverton and Paston was taken up by the Lord Chancellor's office and went on for many years.
