In 1831 Edward George Bulwer-Lytton 1st Baron Lytton [aged 27] was elected MP St Ives which seat he held until 1832.

On 8th November 1831 [his son] Edward Robert Bulwer-Lytton 1st Earl was born to Edward George Bulwer-Lytton 1st Baron Lytton [aged 28]. He married 4th October 1864 Edith Villiers Countess Lytton and had issue.

In 1832 Edward George Bulwer-Lytton 1st Baron Lytton [aged 28] was elected MP Lincoln which seat he held until 1841.

On 20th February 1844 Edward George Bulwer-Lytton 1st Baron Lytton [aged 40] changed his name from Edward George Earle Lytton Bulwer to Edward George Earle Lytton Bulwer-Lytton by Royal Licence.

In 1852 Edward George Bulwer-Lytton 1st Baron Lytton [aged 48] was elected MP Hertfordshire which seat he held until 186.

In 1856 Edward George Bulwer-Lytton 1st Baron Lytton [aged 52] was appointed Rector of Glasgow University.

On 4th October 1864 [his son] Edward Robert Bulwer-Lytton 1st Earl [aged 32] and [his daughter-in-law] Edith Villiers Countess Lytton [aged 23] were married.

Anne Boleyn. Her Life as told by Lancelot de Carle's 1536 Letter.

In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. On 18th January 1873 Edward George Bulwer-Lytton 1st Baron Lytton [aged 69] died. His succeeded son Edward [aged 41] succeeded 2nd Baron Lytton of Knebworth in Hertfordshire, 2nd Baronet Bulwer of Knebworth in Hertfordshire.
