In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. On 12th December 1974 Elizabeth Frances Abney-Hastings Viscountess St Davids [aged 90] died. Her son Jestyn [aged 57] succeeded 15th Baron Strange Knockin, 23rd Baron Hungerford and 21st Baron Moleyns, 11th Baron Mohun of Dunster.
