On 9th December 1758 [his son] Richard Colt Hoare 2nd Baronet was born to Richard Hoare 1st Baronet [aged 23] and [his wife] Anne Hoare [aged 21]. Coefficient of inbreeding 3.12%. He married 18th August 1783 Hester Lyttelton, daughter of William Henry Lyttelton 1st Baron Lyttelton, and had issue.
After 1759 Richard Hoare 1st Baronet [aged 23] and Frances Anne Acland [aged 24] were married.
On 5th May 1759 [his wife] Anne Hoare [aged 21] died.
On 27th February 1762 [his son] Henry Hoare 3rd Baronet was born to Richard Hoare 1st Baronet [aged 26] and [his wife] Frances Anne Acland [aged 27]. He married 25th August 1784 his second cousin Maria Palmer Acland and had issue.
Around 1763 [his daughter] Henrietta Anne Hoare was born to Richard Hoare 1st Baronet [aged 27] and [his wife] Frances Anne Acland [aged 28]. She married (1) 4th July 1785 her half second cousin Thomas Dyke Acland 9th Baronet, son of John Dyke Acland 7th Baronet and Elizabeth Dyke Lady Acland, and had issue (2) 1795 Matthew Fortescue, son of Matthew Fortescue 2nd Baron Fortescue.
On 13th October 1772 [his son] Peter Richard Hoare was born to Richard Hoare 1st Baronet [aged 37] and [his wife] Frances Anne Acland [aged 37].
On 18th August 1783 [his son] Richard Colt Hoare 2nd Baronet [aged 24] and [his daughter-in-law] Hester Lyttelton were married.
On 25th August 1784 [his son] Henry Hoare 3rd Baronet [aged 22] and [his daughter-in-law] Maria Palmer Acland were married. They were second cousins.
On 4th July 1785 [his son-in-law] Thomas Dyke Acland 9th Baronet [aged 33] and [his daughter] Henrietta Anne Hoare [aged 22] were married. They were half second cousins.

The History of William Marshal was commissioned by his son shortly after William’s death in 1219 to celebrate the Marshal’s remarkable life; it is an authentic, contemporary voice. The manuscript was discovered in 1861 by French historian Paul Meyer. Meyer published the manuscript in its original Anglo-French in 1891 in two books. This book is a line by line translation of the first of Meyer’s books; lines 1-10152. Book 1 of the History begins in 1139 and ends in 1194. It describes the events of the Anarchy, the role of William’s father John, John’s marriages, William’s childhood, his role as a hostage at the siege of Newbury, his injury and imprisonment in Poitou where he met Eleanor of Aquitaine and his life as a knight errant. It continues with the accusation against him of an improper relationship with Margaret, wife of Henry the Young King, his exile, and return, the death of Henry the Young King, the rebellion of Richard, the future King Richard I, war with France, the death of King Henry II, and the capture of King Richard, and the rebellion of John, the future King John. It ends with the release of King Richard and the death of John Marshal.

In 1786 Richard Hoare 1st Baronet [aged 50] was created 1st Baronet Hoare of Barn Elms in Surrey.
On 11th October 1787 Richard Hoare 1st Baronet [aged 52] died. His son Richard [aged 28] succeeded 2nd Baronet Hoare of Barn Elms in Surrey.
On 10th September 1800 [his former wife] Frances Anne Acland [aged 65] died at Barn Elms.
